i wouldnt say he was one of the worst in the prem but leroy lita is a lazy shit and does no work for the team!he stands around most of the time. i actually played for margate youth with him and didnt particularly think he was anything special then. still, shows what happens if you have a little self belief and luck!

i think hes a pretty decent player, nothing spectacular but would do a job certainly

i know he hasnt started great for us but the prospect of him playin to his ability for us is a good one! and yeah as said above will give us some much needed balance

Im sure Bellamy wasnt particularly brilliant in his first season for us, perhaps im wrong! agreed I wouldnt swap martins for bellamy, martins is much more explosive and will only get better!

I think Newcastle have a nack for ruining players (and im not talkin about luque),for some reason or other a vast majority of the players that come in seem to turn out to be shit. Most of the defenders at our club were actually brought in as quality players, carr from spurs was a good right back, bramble was brought in as a good prospect after a good season, boumsong had a good rep, further back goma, marcelino, woodgate, even baba to a slight extent all had good reputations when they were purchased but ended up shit for us. I think if you look over the years we have attempted to sign quality defenders, but just simply fucked it up!

it is actually hard to believe in all honestly, really really weird. it will be amazing when hes back, there was nothin i enjoyed more when newcastle scored than seein that it was Owen that scored it!!

they have nothing to lose being the underdogs though! that counts for something! And Huntington, Edgar, Pattison, etc. are playing to prove they're good enough at this level. im not saying its a good excuse but the pressure is off for the birmingham youngsters!
