  1. Didn't look intentional to me.
  2. Dummett actually did really well to pull out wide to give him space to make the pass. He was quite in field when Shelvey received the ball.
  3. I've driven to Cornwall from Kent, to fly to Newcastle to watch this so I share the sentiment Well we're officially jinxing this game, aren't we?

  5. Trying to pronounce that thread title and sound like I'm chewing on a toffee
  6. Fair play to Mitro for being so passionate and celebrating with the team despite what must be a frustrating time for him.
  7. Much as I loathe to side with the negative fucker, he has a point really; there was every bit of potential for us to hammer them today. We scored 3 goals. A 6-0 would have been nice, aye, but still. 3 goals. I'm not playing down the goals we scored or the result He's just making a point that considering we got 2 early goals and an early one in the second half, there was potential for a bigger win. It's a fair enough comment IMO.

  9. Well at least he recognises he's not on great form.
  10. I can't not read that statement in an Eastern European accent.

    Pipe down, Wyclef.
  12. I always wondered that. I had a Strfan in a FIFA pack and they look really similar.
  13. Can't say I agree with that, his last ten minutes aside. I thought he was very assured and always in the right position today. As far as the Colback's scale goes, that was right up there. On the overall scale it was still low down there, we should be dominating the midfield so much more. Still don't agree. I hate him as much as the next guy but thought he had a good game in his role by anyone's standards. Good in what way? Sitting in front of the back 4 and mopping up play, distributing the ball well (for the most part) and generally being a grunt, doing the dogs work. Is this satire? No, just the weirdo who was defending McClaren while he was blatantly taking us down. Colback was typically shit today. Give over.

  17. Colback has a very good game IMO, albeit lost his composure in the final 10 or so. He did the dogwork for the team very well today. Disclaimer - obviously I still don't want him playing. I didn't really notice him, but as usual when he's playing, we don't dominate the midfield area. Whenever the ball came towards our third he was there, retaining the ball and laying it on. Nothing special but an important performance particularly when Diame, Atsu, Gayle and Shelvey had a spell high up the pitch early in the second half.

  19. We got the equaliser in the Arsenal 4-4 on the same thread page as we scored the winner in this thread and immediately following each goal someone has expressed that they're crying http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,74469.825.html
