  1. To be fair to the lad, I reckon he must be a genuine bona fide simpleton to keep posting to the same level of colostomy bag burst that he does.

    Sunderland

Good shout that. Kept Brum up that season almost single-handedly did old "Skull".
  3. A new manager would not have sent our current best centre half out on loan though.
  4. You live in the Nuneaton neck of the woods, Doug?
  5. Don't do it man. You and Wullie are two anchors on here. Be careful how you say that ffs.
  6. No he doesn't. The ball is 40 yards from goal. It's as simple as that. Pelle is no threat there with his back to goal and the ball in the air. It only becomes dangerous once Coloccini neglects the back line that he should be marshalling, and attempts to win a ball he has no chance of winning, thus leaving us one short at the back. Seriously it's a schoolboy error to the nth degree.
  7. Good to see your support for TCD [emoji2]
  8. Honestly - some of you are clueless about football. For the first goal, Colo loses a header about 40 yards away from goal. As a result two passes that could have been easily intervened happen. How can it primarily be Colo's fault? Because he went challenging for a ball that he couldn't win.? Ignore him ST. He's a fucking simpleton.
  9. Anyone remember that John Thompson football fan character in the Fast Show?
  10. Nor would we had the centre half not gone AWOL .
  11. It's TCD. Anything is possible.
  12. Agree here. The College Dropout though expects him to be challenging centre forwards in the air. I.E doing what the centre backs should be doing despite being what 5-8" tops. Perhaps in true TCD fashion, he thinks Anita is 6-0". If we continue with Anita & Colback teams will just float balls into our CM/DM area and they'll have their way with us. I understand he won't win it but he needs to be switched on to pick up the scraps. If Anita isn't going to challenge in the air when the ball is in his area he MUST be aware defensively of the second-ball and make sure he wins that if it is in his area. Again here - he makes a mistake Ward-Prowse reads the flick-on and runs past Anita for the assist. Look it isn't rocket science. Coloccini committed himself unnecessarily and didn't win the ball thus leaving us short. As schoolboys we are told not to commit ourselves unless you know you will win the ball. Coloccini made a schoolboy error with his bull in a China shop approach and yet you're blaming a small midfielder for not challenging.

  14. On the Man City theme, Richard Edghill. And another full back called Foster. Can't recall his first name. EDIT: It's John and he made 16 appearances for them in the mid 90's...fuck knows how I recalled him.
  15. Francis Benali managed to play hundreds of games for Southampton despite being shockingly shite.
  16. David Hillier who famously was arrested trying to half inch luggage at an airport, possibly Gatwick.
  17. How about shite for Leeds but then played for Spain, Raul Bravo.
  18. Jon Harley. Bit like Danny Granville in that he dropped like a stone after doing well for Chelsea.
  19. what an absolutely amazing memory to have of a footballer, wish i'd seen keegan in his prime like You know how Beckham carried England single handedly in that game against Greece? Well Keegan did the same for England as captain for nigh on four years. I've never seen a player with such heart.
  20. TBF I googled and got that guy straight away, who says he's not doing the same This guy seems absolutely fucking irrelevant for the football world. So unless you're from that country you SHOULDN'T know who he is. Good luck with the site Tbf I'm not you [emoji6]
