  1. Suarez easily the best player in the Premiership.
  2. Alright lads you will be two points ahead of us by the end of the day as things stand. Relax. Us
  3. Best defensive striker in World football. I like him a lot. Always looks very bright and always gives 110%.
  4. Man U coming out on top in this relegation 6 pointer.
  5. Keane was better than Vieira. The furore about Cole or Irwin shouldve easily been solved by moving Irwin to right back in place of Lauren who had no right to be there ahead of GNev or Dixon anyhow.
  6. Parker? Pearce or Platt? Top one's right. Bottom is Platt aye. Cheers First thought was Adams but seen to remember him and Ince in that Italy qualifier. Adams made his debut away to Spain 87ish. Think we won by a hatful. Aye that was a grey area for me when he actually started, seem to remember him being Englands top goalscorer in the 1989 year(unless i invented that ) He was a goalscorer at Euro 88. Since we only scored 2 goals he would've been joint with Bryan Robson. I went to that tourney. We hadn't lost since the hand of God, and I honestly expected us to win it. A week later P3 L3. Back home on the ferry.

  8. Be interesting to see if we can strike a balance between stopping them from playing their free flowing football and creating ourselves. Be a tough one this. I say 2-1 to us.
  9. 1996. And yes. Bitter as a lemon draped with stinging nettles and then pissed on
  10. Do loads for chaaarriddee mate, just don't like to talk about it.
  11. Fucking excellent article. Never a truer word spoken. The 2 glory cunts I work with have been very quiet this week. Instead of sniggering and pointing at me in a mocking fashion, they are lost sheep. Until today that is when they are wondering who their next victims in the Champions League will be. " It won't be fucking Newcastle, will it, " said one. I can't wait for their inevitable demise in the Tournament. Still, they'll probably become Arsenal fans instead of having the ignominy of "supporting" an also-ran.
  12. I'd say there is more chance of winning the Premiership than being relegated . 2 for me.
  13. Well remember watching the 5-0 in the company of a group of glory hunting cunts. As the third went in, all except one sacked it off and went to play snooker. The one who saw it through had his 62nd birthday yesterday. And is a Busby Babe type glory boy from Dundalk originally but a good chap all the same.
  14. As good as Taggart obviously was, what was he thinking letting Paul Pogba go and keeping Tom Cleverley?
  15. I may have been born in Coventry, Kaiz, and lived there all of my life but my Father came from the North East and supported Newcastle all of his life . His only son was never going to support anyone else. And besides in my lifetime, Coventry City, my local team have actually won the FA Cup. So even if I had no connection to Newcastle United, I'd be the antithesis of a glory hunter wouldn't I? Sorry to say but your post is total bollocks.
  16. I know as many Liverpool glory hunters as I do Manchester United ones. They're the same arrogant fuckers except about 20 years older.
  17. Theyve also won shitloads of titles since you last won one.
  18. I shagged your Granny. Yup I 'ad nan.
  19. I have met Graeme Souness (twice) and was shocked at what a nice bloke he is. In the early 90's, I had a conversation with OJ Simpson on a plane and thought he was a really down-to-earth guy. Not good on a plane though.
  20. Try 4 decades for the likes of Mick etc. Nah. I remember them being relegated in 74 and being shite after that, certainly when Dave Sexton managed them. Then they became a good Cup side under Ron Atkinson and then a mediocre side as Ferguson built his first trophy winning team in 1990.
  21. He's in the House of Lords rather than in Parliament. Oh Christ, that's good. It's the cleverest witticism I've seen on these here boards...round of applause for S.S.R!!!
  22. People have been complaining about how we've been playing (even when winning) and you're all 'ever the optimist' We win and people are happy with how we've played and you turn into Jack f***ing Dee. Can understand if I've went over the top but day in day out such negativity, 'we'll get twatted at OT', 'defensive wingers, long balls, static players'. Stuff like that which is no need for. Yes our tactics might be in question but we won games. We don't have one style which I've always denied, we are a very versatile side and Pardew is capable of playing multiple ways and he's proved that in his victories this season. What he doesn't have is a football philosophy like Martinez/Wenger/Rodgers where they will only play possession football to their strengths. This is not a bad thing for those managers, I in fact love it and would always have Wenger over fergie if one were to manage us. However Pardew isn't one for that and has his own way of management and one I've bought into and accepted. He's not shite, he's not great but he's good enough to get us top 8. So far it's been a marvellous bounce back to form given our dire run last season. I can't praise this group enough. What shite. I thought we played some excellent stuff today. He gets brave when we have nothing to lose, in his mind anyhow. It's when we're at home to shite that his arse drops. But if we can control the game at Old Trafford by playing in such a pleasing manner, he can surely send us out to do it at half time, 2 up against Norwich. Hopefully today can be a game changer where Pardew is concerned. He was seriously good today, as were his team
  23. I enjoyed the whole game and I can't remember when that's happened last in the league. We have the players, we just need to use them correctly and we can do really well, fingers crossed it's not a one off. Aye, me too. If we can do it there , we can do it anywhere. Pardew did everything today perfectly. As did the players. Honestly we've waited a long time not just to win there, but to see us so comfortable with the ball and without it too. Seriously chuffed. Especially against the glory hunting cunts.
