Reminded me of when Man Utd came and had De Gea take ages over every goal kick. Just served to wind the crowd up and make things even harder for them, just because they were obsessed with combatting our play style.

I feel like Arteta concentrated too much on the kind of game he expected us to play. Even when losing they were slowing the game down and trying to take the sting out it. Yet some of their individual players were trying to foul and needle us. Could be wrong but it felt like they were overly prepared for the occasion and not enough to play the match.

There would be something wrong if we couldn’t fit Tonali into our team. I know the team is the most important thing but it would be a waste. Early days though, no need to freak yet. As long as we’re winning.

But he looked class in the last game.

I think they focused too much on this and not enough on playing their game. Same reason they took ages over every set piece, which only wasted their own time.

Thought the ref was terrible but the positive was that Arsenal didn't take advantage of it and then he felt like he had to start to give us loads of decisions late-on.

Watched him closely in the warmup and he looks brilliant on the ball.

They were pretty casual, which is what I couldn’t understand. Even in the first half taking ages to take corners etc and not quickening the game up. Guess they were taking breaks from our brutal Howe-ball or something.
