Any real hip-hop fan has carefully practiced leaving a gap when rapping along to lyrics and the n-word comes up. I think it’s the main skill for a white hip-hop fan TBH. It’s what helped me sharpen my delivery.

It just shouldn’t be about explicitly confirming the on-field decision IMO. It should be about the referee asking for help if needed, or the VAR telling him he’s made a mistake. The problem is just that I can’t see an implementation that doesn’t ruin the flow of the game, the celebration of goals and doesn’t lead to minute examination of minor things leading to major impacts on the game. It’s out of control versus what the intention is meant to be. I think some of the rules are unclear too though, which doesn’t help. Handball in particular.

I think part of the problem is they’re expected to justify their existence by competing with commercial channels. Rather than using their independence to explore more interesting things.

He has a lot about him but I'm not sure he's quite at the level to dominate a PL game in the manner he was trying to. And if Forest are hoping he will they might be disappointed. I wasn't that bothered selling him because he basically didn't feature for us, but it would've been nice to have him as another option. That said, we have Miley and we should have Ramsey. Overall he had a good game and I'm sure he'll get better because he has lots of strengths, but I would put him at good rather than superb at the moment.

They don't announce MOTD at the match, do they? I've never heard it.

I've never really understood what his position is because he's way too untidy to be a CM and not dangerous enough to be a forward. Maybe legs off the bench would be his role at the PL level, if he could stay sharp and ready to contribute when he came on. FWIW I thought he wasn't as bad this season as last.

What I would say is that generally I considered intelligence and decision-making to be one of Elanga's strengths before he signed for us, often picking exactly the right moment to use his pace and the right time to release the ball to someone else. So I do believe he's maybe trying a bit too hard at the moment and he has what it takes to put it all together for us.

I think sometimes he does everything so easily that people don't realise how class he is. Makes it look effortless. I understand people's exaggerated fear of people who have been injured etc, but I don't see any reason not to slap a big new contract in his mush.
