It's incredible to think of how bad Kings Cross used to be when I first used to get the train back home

After the collapse of society, arrow crime will be a much bigger deal TBF.

The 'London is a sharia law no-go danger zone full of guns' narrative does smell a lot of the political right like, I have to say.

Pickford’s a top keeper, one of the best. Maybe him being a bit mental has affected his brand a bit.

When I moved to London street muggings seemed very common, people at work and friends would report being mugged like it was normal occurrence. To me it feels like it’s become much safer since then. I wasn’t doubting the phone theft specifically going up, it’s a new trend and a new target - more crime in general.

The sign of the aquila, he loves Warhammer 40k.

Which crime do you mean?

I lived in London for over 10 years and visit regularly.

I thought he was just a really big Wu Tang fan.

Yeah but there’s still a really small chance you’ll have your phone stolen. Almost every pedestrian is walking around their their phone out

Yeah, but it's absolutely not true that you can't wear a watch or use your phone in London, especially if you are a footballer who presumably hangs around really nice places Crime is also not going up as far as I understand. Maybe shoplifting is.

Surely it’s going to be mostly empty then?

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
AyeDubbleYoo replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Anderson I get because he’s local, but have no idea how people can be attached to players who never did anything for us. -
Think we've said before, there's not really a good option except create loads more tickets. Maybe some kind of membership tier levels or loyalty recognition, but the past system has been so patchy that I'm not sure how you would start assessing who the most deserving fans are now. Personally I obviously don't want a return to ballot only. Even though it's fair in absolute terms it's not necessarily 'fair' to give tickets out randomly to anyone who applies. One thing I would do is either restrict the membership sale period to something like a month before the season starts, or say that you have to have a membership for 3 months before a big fixture or something like that. Something to stop people buying memberships for specific games or signing up again once banned. I personally think the club could also set aside a fund and a team to buy up tickets on 3rd party sites and cancel the memberships of the people selling them. Would probably only take a few months to really run that number down, especially if they can't re-buy memberships.

Yeah, as much as I never win a ballot, I never want more tickets put in the ballot
-
I don’t really even notice now. I’ve entered 3 times for every game and think I’ve won 1 this season. None in a season is bad like

Who gives a shit if you’re big or small anyway.

Thought it was Ange at a distance.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season
AyeDubbleYoo replied to a topic in Football
Maybe, or maybe he's just developing under a top coach like a young player does. People are a bit too quick to focus on Osula's personality for some reason.
