It's a shame these managerial geniuses all have to make fools of themselves in the media. Fergie and Wenger are both amazing managers but it's impossible to respect the shite they come out with.

I don't "want him to leave", I can just see how he might cause problems if he's hanging around the place unhappy and demotivated. It might not happen obviously, but it's a concern IMO.

Never understood how experience is valued so much more than youth in the professional game. The advantages of experience are important, but so are the advantages of being young, enthusiastic and fearless. Every team should do much better to get the mix right IMO.

To be honest, not sure if I want him back now. As a player we need him, but it might become very difficult to manage him if he's desperate to get away but just can't find a decent club to go to. Don't really want him sulking for the rest of the season. It's a tough one.

Well according to Pardew, the numbers are so big we wont be able to add them up in our tiny little heads, so best just trusting that as much money as possible is being spent. Pardew is starting to show the colours of the manager at West Ham who didn't know how to incorporate Tevez and Mascherano. The new French additions seem to have him non-plussed so sticking with the tried and tested in Joey will be right up his alley. Wow, that's a bit of crazy logic. He's just saying that he wants an important player to stay, no idea how you drew that conclusion .

I agree, but it is still slightly scary removing someone who got you so many goals. I never thought he was a great player, but even so.

Hopefully Pardew will make the defenders realise that Tiote and Cabaye are available for short passes, and it can build from there. The urge to hump it long is strong in most defenders really, it's a hard one to change. They were even launching long balls to Sammy tonight.
