Fair enough I say, can't be wanking people off unless they've earned it.
-
We can always reduce the size of the squad later... it would be insane to operate one in one out for the entire transfer window.
-
I love passing and tactics and all that, but there's nothing like a player who can go past people with the ball at pace. So direct and intelligent as well, can't wait to see him back.
-
Good luck to him! Will be interesting to see what happens. If he fancies taking Ranger on loan for a season, that would help us out a treat.
-
That helicopter's on the original poster! All I changed was the heads.
-
Should be pretty dramatic the improvement in our midfield movement and athleticism, with Nolan out and Cabaye and Ben Arfa in. Hopefully Jonas and Barton will be around to benefit from it.

http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/5052/pardsandhatem.jpg Bit bored today. Couldn't be bothered to get the text perfect, but I thought it summed up the new special relationship between Pards and HBA.

Buying good players for cheap prices is brilliant, I don't give a toss what Barton thinks about it TBH.
-
I love it and the home one too. The revolution gives me an excuse to buy these fuckers. Definitely getting that away one, it's formidable.
-
Yeah he was. was devistated when he left... Me too, absolutely gutted. Then I had a dream where he apologised to me for leaving and said he didn't really want to go, so I got over it a little. Taking down the Andy Cole poster was a traumatic day indeed.

If Martin Samuel hasn't written a vicious diatribe on how Everton are a much bigger club and have more attractive women and longer life expectancy because Taylor is joining them instead, then I'll wait and see.

It's the worst thing to happen to this forum for ages.

Well I agree up to a point, but there certainly aren't enough examples to say it's a general strategy, or that it means we're actively looking to sell all of our players. Nolan we were right not to match what he's getting at West Ham, Barton is still here, Enrique is a unique case because he is class and his contract is running down. I don't doubt that we're trying to reduce costs and get bargains, but I think it's a step to far to say we want to sell everyone.
-
Obinna was awesome for a good number of games, no idea why he dropped off though.
-
Yes, Adam Johnson is a class player at the peak of his career, who absolutely should be playing every week for a top club. (Although I don't actually know enough about Taylor to say whether he's good enough for the Premier League right now)
-
Well if the situation with Enrique is hopeless then I guess we have to start thinking like that. Hopefully not got to that point yet.
-
Think that conclusion is a bit much from one tweet by someone who doesn't know the full picture.
-
I'd quite like to take a chance on Bendtner for the right price, but obviously not if Enrique goes the other way.
-
The first phrase was so reasonable as well.
-
Ah right, well seems a bit like stating the obvious then. Anyway, pleased he's not perma-crocked.
-
Ah right, cheers, just that French article said something like "we won't seem him for a good while". Guess that might just mean because it's the end of the season. Anyway, nee worries then.
-
So what's the deal with his injury, is he likely to miss some of the coming season too?
-
If our plan really is to isolate and force out our best player by selling another two of our best players, the world really has gone mental. Can't believe it for a moment.
-
Honestly can't believe the club's strategy is to "isolate Colocinni by selling Enrique and Jonas". Howay, it's not the Russian mafia. Pardew has already said he wants Enrique to stay, and I can't believe just because we've signed Marveaux we're suddenly keen on shipping Jonas. Will be worried until the end of the window, but I seriously doubt that Journal article.

I've sometimes quite liked his stuff actually, I guess everyone has to chase sensationalism and reactions from people even more now.
