  1. Think Agbonlahor has done enough to be Young Player, he's hit the wall recently but he was brilliant earlier in the season.
  2. I know it what everyone means, I wasn't defending anything by the way - I've said before that I would have got in an interim manager already if I could find one. All I was saying was that I don't believe it will happen... the regime have faith in Kinnear for some reason.
  3. I suppose so, obviously when I said 'we're stuck with them' I didn't mean it was literally impossible to do anything... I just meant that the club would choose not to.
  4. This fucking attitude pisses me off tbh, appeasors and appologists like you, people who try to talk as if they are the voice of reason, but really have no fucking clue. Some of the crap you post, is mind boggingly niave. It's not too late to take a chance, there's 8 games left, bring a new guy in, get a honeymoon period of 2 or 3 wins, ala BSA at blackburn, Sbriga at the dirty mackems and many, many more examples, even Souness here !! And you're well on your way to getting out of this mess. The crime here is not to act and to sleepwalk into relegation, we are going down without a bloody fight atm. Whoah there cowboy! The situation is basically this: 1) Kinnear will be back soon. I know he's shit but in the club's view he is the manager. 2) They don't want to get rid of Kinnear, even though they should. BTW, I've said they should use this an excuse to out him before, so to call me naive is stupid. Those two things together mean that the club believe that they only have to cope for a couple of games more until Kinnear returns. You and I know things probably won't get any better when he's back - but I'm dealing with the reality of the situation as the club see it. If that's 'crap' or 'mind boggingly naive' (whatever mindbogging is!), then fair enough... I plead guilty.
  5. Least catchy name ever? Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue like.
  6. Every time I've seen Lampard I've been massively impressed... but Vidic and Gerrard have also been immense. Not sure who to go for.
  7. Depends if it's true or not, for me. Me too. Sorry for sounding snappy... but I hear too many people on here with the attitude that if the club, or whatever else, has the power to punish, then you should just roll over. A bit like those arsehole bouncers they had working the games. My view was more about the fact that I depise the majority of football 'journalists' who are basically parasites feeding off other people's success and/or failure to make careers for themselves. And most of them write a great deal of made up shite - Oliver being a prime example. Not the most balanced view I admit!
  8. It's too late to do anything about the management team now, we're stuck with them whatever we think.
  9. Ronaldo is a strong bloke, he only goes down when he's pissed off or wants to buy a freekick... when it's to his advantage he can battle.
  10. Depends if it's true or not, for me. Me too.
  11. Messi is the best, so I voted for him. But Gerrard is probably the most important to his club, without him Liverpool would be absolutely nothing. They would be wrong to swap Messi for Gerrard, not that it would ever be offered!
  12. The press need to know that they can't write whatever they want with impunity. I won't lose any sleep over Alan Oliver, the man's a complete c word.
  13. One of the few good things the regime has done, Oliver wrote nothing but utter shit. Where the Mail got the idea that he was 'highly respected' I'll never know.

    OMG

Just to be fair to Man Utd, the only quotes in that piece are from Paddy Crerand, when they say 'what Ferguson describes as a lack of protection', they must be assuming he would think that. I think Ferguson is a much cleverer manager than to whinge about protection of his players, except in a post-match knee jerk.

    OMG

Nothing to do with the massive pay day awaiting him in Madrid then?
  16. Exactly, it's inexplicable that the club didn't use the illness of Kinnear to get another manager in. It would have been a bit heartless, but usually a business would do that to turn a bad situation to their advantage. We didn't even have to sack JK, we could have kept in on while he recovers then 'encouraged' him to step down at the end of the season. We are crying out for someone to get a grip on the players and motivate this team. We're a classic case of the whole being much less than a sum of its parts at the moment.
  17. Just having Bramble on the teamsheet made me nervous. He was nailed on for a goal-conceding howler every couple of games, if not more often. Not sure what's going on with Colo recently, his form has definitely dipped, but he's no Titus.
  18. I'm as much a fan as anyone, I can't get to every home game because I live down south, but I follow as closely as I can. All I'm saying is it's getting depressing. Yes, I wanted to avoid the Arsenal game.. but in the end I followed the whole thing. I'll probably do the same with Chelsea. But we're only human, a person can only take so much depression. It's self preservation talking!
  19. I was a bit like that for the Arsenal game, I just didn't want to watch the inevitable defeat. You know it's bad when fans are getting to this stage. How much of a fan are you if you're going to fuck off before a game has even been played. Don't know what you mean, loads of games have been played.

  21. I bought a Henry Barca shirt when he signed for them, was initially gutted as it looked like he was going to flop. As usual a class player was written off to soon though, seems to be getting back to his old self now.
  22. I'm really worried about what might happen if we go down, to the city as well as the club. I just hope that if it does happen it is confirmed after an away game, might take the focus off a bit. Hopefully people will just stay at home being depressed rather than smash the place up.
  23. If we go down, it's extremely likely that none of those three things will happen.
  24. It's live in video on the BBC website as well.
  25. well said his petulant schoolboy behaviour is one of the reasons we are in this shit..hes nothin but a clown and the amount of people that think the sun shines out of his arse is unreal..the guy has never seen a job out in his life....fuck Keegan complete wanker I know what you mean, I'll never feel the same about Keegan either, but Ashley has made a lot of bad decisions following his departure.
