Well we need several good CMs. If we lost Bruno then IMO Tonali would one the only real quality CM in the squad. Miley could be in future.

You would need to spend a decent amount of money on replacements for any star players sold, that's my issue. And the replacements would likely be lesser quality, unless your scouting is absolutely perfect.

I agree with the point we need as much guile as possible, I don’t think our current players are direct sprinters really. Gordon is a very smart player and Isak is obviously a world class attacking dribbler with great vision. I do want someone on the right with great technique and brain though.

I'm not sure we can sign a striker unless Wilson is off the books TBH... is this his last contract year? If not then it's going to be tricky unless we just write him off and don't register him for the next squad.

TBF it does have a nod towards expectations and does imply that when we criticise the situation we should keep the larger context in mind (generally things are much better than ever before and decisions will be made for the right reasons). Each to their own on how they assess the current situation though, personally I’m easy to please on a short-term basis because I remember how horrific the Ashley era was. Therefore I’m more likely to want to believe the best about people like the manager.
