He did play quite conservatively, but so did most of the team. We knew that it wasn't worth risking the ball too much because a draw was good enough. It was a weird sort of game like that.

So many mint things to come still - the draw, the anticipation, the weird European TV shows and CL magazine coverage, that first week leading up to the group game. The first night at SJP with that anthem and that logo. Maybe the first goal and the first win. Still doesn’t feel quite real, but I can’t wait.

I stay about 10 minutes after the final whistle these days, just to soak it in and celebrate. Mad seeing people running for the exits when you've just beaten Brighton in a crucial game. FWIW I do understand if there is literally no other way to get home, but it seems like a lot of people.

This is my biggest encouragement, they really tried against liverpool but collapsed due to mistakes and losing morale. We just need to get amongst them and take a couple of chances.
