I think the problem for me is that they’re obviously not implementing a comprehensive recruitment process that has the main objective of making the team as good as possible. If they were, they would have a mixture of players from all over. Also seem to be restricted to Portuguese speaking managers, which is a problem for similar reasons. If it just so happened that all the players they signed were Brazilian or Portuguese, then OK.

Problem with the flags is that it creates a great atmosphere before the game starts, and then everything disappears at kick off. Not an easy one to solve like, think it’s mainly down to the team to provide some action early on.

Thought he was quite good. The people behind me were set on hammering him even before he came on, which I think is the case with a lot of fans.
