I don’t think the reaction has been too bad TBH, people are just keen for better players. Personally I don’t care where we finish this season but I would like some of the shit players to see fewer minutes. Our signings have been good but attackers are always going to be more exciting.

It seems like it’s principle rather than FFP that is restricting us. We just don’t want to be seen to overpay. Personally I would spend £50m x 3 on another set of signings before the window closes. Providing we can find the players willing to join of course.

It’s a massive club and presumably loads of money, so I don’t think you can say it’s a mistake. Whether he plays or not might not even matter that much, it’s like a lottery win. He obviously wasn’t that interested in coming here. He probably doesn’t understand our potential just yet.
