  1. I don’t expect Southgate to go with Ward-Prowse but I would be tempted. Quite strong defensively and very creative on the ball, with great set pieces.
  2. In hindsight I should’ve just been passing backwards to retain possession and allow the attacking quizzers to do the damage. Mixing up Beckham and Ronaldo was a low point. Although 2003 and 2009 aren’t ‘that’ far apart
  3. It’s good, obvs way too hard for me. I thought making it team would mean you weren’t on your own
  4. I’ve got a triumphant none as well so far Last minute equaliser upcoming.
  5. Afraid not, we're on MS Teams at work now.
  6. It was laughable when we were running that mental split striker formation a while back mind, and that was rumoured to be Jones' favoured system. Makes me a bit wary of putting too much of our improvement down to him. Maybe he's a good coach but there's no evidence he's a good manager.
  7. This season has been an absolutely perfect Ashley season. In his mind we can probably lose another 4 games next season.
  8. Holding players should be dynamic and have good passing range anyway. We just have ones who don’t.
  9. It seems really easy for the top teams to just play around defences and tap it in.
  10. It’s very funny to see him getting so wound up though, almost as good as getting to Steve himself.
  11. Don’t forget he’s also decimated our commercial income.
  12. Player of the season: Big Joe (Willock) Can’t remember any individual goals or games. Not sure any player has improved. Worst player: Shelvey or Lewis Mark out of 10: 3.5 Manager out of 10: 2 Same again next year, sweet.
  13. No idea how good he is, but I know he's miles better than what we have now.
  14. I sometimes think it would be better to just go to games, try to enjoy them and forget about the bigger picture. Not always sure what the point is in torturing ourselves. When I try to explain our situation to people down here I seem like a mad person. For them it sits firmly in the ‘always support your team’ bracket, and they don’t understand at all why people don’t want to go.
  15. I think he would benefit from more discipline and a clearly defined role, something like Mahrez at Man City. Most players would, it’s not to say he’s not helping the team now.

    Joe Willock

I honestly don’t know if this bombing into the box is his normal game or if it’s just what he’s been doing here because we needed someone to save our season. He might be viewed completely differently at Arsenal. Did anyone see him much before he came here?
  17. His individual nature is potentially a problem for clubs higher up the leagues. But then again, I think it looks much worse here because he's playing out of position and being told to do everything himself. I don't see any reason a top coach couldn't get him to play out wide, hold his position and use his ability in the right way. Then he would really start to look world class. Sadly it won't happen here because Brucey's best bet is just to let him do anything and hope he wins the game on his own.
  18. I don't understand why that Spurs goal was allowed, it clearly touched Kane's hand which (I thought) should rule it out under the current rule. I know they're adjusting it for next season, but I thought any hand touch in the build up was currently a handball.
  19. Football's a weird sport at times like, the amount of immensely important things decided by luck, mistakes, bad decisions, dives and stuff. Seems almost random sometimes. There's a dive, a handball not given, a massive deflection, a soft red card, an own goal by a keeper and a few other dodgy things that decided who qualified for the champions league just today.
