Not such a bad shout, he's been amazing.

Although Shola is close, Taylor is probably the right answer. Absolute joke.
-
Hard to know how to assess players I guess, and how to factor in their team performance. Could even argue the improvement in Stones has been just as important as Dias.
-
Seemed like Gundogan was carrying Man City for quite a period of time.
-
Although less heartbreaking than staying up and the takeover failing.

Everything he's done with the retail is mental, TBH. Changing it to a tacky brand, running it down, closing the stores in the Metrocentre etc. Seems like exactly the opposite of what you'd do to make money. Spurs have a brand new superstore and fans are spending hundreds of pounds each on a match day. The quality of the merchandise and the environment is incomparable.

No doubt at all, given a few decent signings.

Anything with a link including ‘Gabby Agbonlahor feels...’ should be immediately expunged from the internet.

It's a weird turnaround from West Ham. From the outside it kind of seemed like they were continuing their shite policy of overpaying for players who didn't want to be there and over-reliance on Antonio... but then it turned out that most of them were actually good. And Moyes has done really well of course.

I say we saw not enough of Ki if anything.

I wouldn’t even care about Sunderland ending up bigger, if I had a club to support. Hopefully it won’t be necessary, but I do think it’s worth keeping in mind for the future.
-
I liked Anita but I don’t remember getting much agreement
-
That’s pretty optimistic about future signings

Endless list in recent years really. Shola’s the one who springs to mind, Dummett, Smith, Butt, any number of shites. Dummett has partly redeemed himself through becoming a semi-useful squad player, but only just. And I am aware Shola cared about the club and tried his best. But both should’ve been peddled a lot earlier.

Agree, but I do think it's odd for the forum to have a specific thread to accommodate talking about the same subject in a different way. That said, I am not a mod and I will never speak of this again
-
I'm happier he has another year so I don't have to endure the insane disaster of giving him a new deal.
-
Yeah obvs, without Ashley it's a brilliant project for anyone.
-
Would definitely be a departure if they decided to back him once he's here.
-
I'd lose a lot of respect for Howe if he came here.
-
There's a 100% chance that's just random waffle.

Burnley 1-2 Newcastle United - post-match reaction from pg24

Tend to agree, but I think it'll be because of reputation and style rather than ability. I don't see why he couldn't organise a better club with better players to a similar extent, and achieve more. We will likely never get to find out mind, I know. -
This thread really shouldn't exist, I don't see why we can just discuss the takeover in one place.
-
I'd love a new to club to support, and it doesn't rely on anyone else to sell to us. That said, I get why we aren't there yet.
-
I didn't, one of the few PL games I've actively avoided.

I don't want Dyche, but at least he has a plan and doesn't lie about what they are. Better than pretending to be a progressive club.
