I don't think they're bad TBH, have a lot of decent players. They could sometimes play without the second pivot in midfield, or pick someone more adventurous there (Ward-Prowse for me).
They're also involved in a lot of easy or meaningless games.
I definitely avoid saying 'us' now too, usually use 'they'.
Nephew is coming up to the age where we'd be getting him into football too, but can't see the justification. He can always glory hunt later in life if Ashley leaves.
Yeah, it's a weird one with True Faith. They pretty much get it right on the podcast with regards to Ashley etc, but they never discuss not going to the match.
I just think they’ve been through it too many times now, and Bruce has crushed their spirits. How many times can you fight relegation just to survive and fight relegation again? This time without any decent coaching.
Not in the context of a survey that has those options IMO. Encouraging that the majority realise it’s mainly Ashley.
Rafa will have confused matters as well I guess, making people think that the manager can succeed even under Ashley.
I said throughout, it was a nice distraction but there was always the feeling it was a temporary sticking plaster on the disastrous club. I was enjoying it, but not completely because I was always waiting for it to collapse.
It would be nice to be able to watch the PL without us in it, much more enjoyable. That’s a benefit.
I quite enjoyed the Championship before, it’s a good league. But this time I wouldn’t really be following us.
