I wouldn’t really expect someone to resign who gets paid millions if they get sacked.
I don’t understand why managers have to be paid when they get sacked, surely some level of performance failure should enable them to be sacked for free?
I mean, that was always nonsense.
If you judge the manager is the right person, keep them on when results are going badly. If you judge the manager is shite, get rid of them even if they're picking up some results.
Not sure that really gives us an advantage, it just means we pay less. Other clubs who are not shite and are willing to pay the full fee would be better.
