  1. The thing that’s been crazy for weeks, is how little we look like we’re in a relegation battle. Shelvey fucking plays like he’s 3-0 up in the champions league final and the opposition are down to 9.

    Isaac Hayden

Could be his last premier league game for a while, poor lad.
  3. Approached it the same as last time, we’re just lucky they don’t have wingers fit. Sit off them, let them dictate the game and hope they don’t score.
  4. This could be my last season as an active fan. When lockdown ends and you’re allowed to do something else, there’s really very little reason to follow us.
  5. The obvious way around relegation seemed to be sacking Bacon Steve.
  6. Distan was one for me, can’t remember the details but he went on to be a very capable premier league CB.
  7. Even his first answer is the opposite of reality. We never adapt, the top teams do. Scarily removed from reality, and an incredible misunderstanding of how the top teams prepare. Mental really
  8. Think it’s a hard matchup for Fulham as well though, Leeds put you under all sorts of pressure. And they missed a sitter right before the Fulham goal. Of course they’re not great, they’re third bottom.
  9. Think that Leeds result will motivate Brighton more than us TBH, we just don’t seem to have the belief we’re in a relegation battle.
  10. BTW, does every club get talked about in terms of what their fans think? I guess so but I’ve never really thought about it. Why not just analyse the actual facts and whether the manager is doing well or not?
  11. Pep would struggle if he tried to get Shelvey to press or Dummett to play tiki taka, TBF. Maybe that’s what Rob Lee means, the thick fuck.
  12. Most generous you can be is that it's 5 clubs for the 3rd relegation places, but realistically it's 3. 2 if you think Fulham will win some more games.
  13. I'm not sure if he's lying or his grasp of the detail is so weak that he just waffles whatever comes into his head. Which may or may not (usually not) correspond to reality.
  14. Worrying that he doesn't even know who we've won and lost to The lack of detail in our work is absolutely staggering.
  15. Well thanks for bringing that to my attention.
  16. Hope he enjoyed his career
  17. And Shelvey TBH, he offers very little these days.

    England

TBF it's quite unusual for someone to get dropped because of bad form.
  19. I’d pick either of them ahead of Shelvey and Hendrick. Especially Matty, who has plenty of energy and looks comfortable on the ball. There’s no way it can be worse than what we’ve been doing.
  20. It seemed silly for him to stay anyway, but I never thought he'd be unused to this extent. Given how shit our midfield options are (Shelvey).

    Paul Dummett

He can cross OK if he can run onto it and hit it first time. But not really if he has to move the ball at all.
