Probably pointless posting anything but a whinge, but here goes. I was loving how we played for most of the first half, at half time it was really annoying because they just took it away from us due to having many times more talented and expensive players than we've got. Second half was more of a mixed bag, I didn't necessarily like how the game was very open and end-to-end but I get that we're trying to create the circumstances for the type of attacks that seem to be fruitful for us. And I'm sure we were feeling good and confident after Paris that we can get at good teams. Again I think the depressing thing is just that they are much less likely to make a mistake, much more likely to turn an attack into a goal, much more likely to create something out of nothing than we are, just because they have a lot more good players than we do. I'm not sure I can be that critical about how we approached the game TBH. You could have argued for a defensive away display but I'm not sure that gives us any more chance of points.

If you don't think anything has changed for Newcastle supporters then I honestly think you're beyond hope. Biggest load of shit I've read for a long time.

I suppose you would if you knew you would go 3-1 down rather than equalise.
-
Well you’ve stacked the deck there, everything looks good on big Joe.

Liverpool vs. Newcastle United: 31/1/26 @ 20:00 (TNT Sport)

It’s a tough one but it’s another chance to go and bother a so-called bigger club with not really anything to lose. Coming off the back of a top performance against one of the best clubs in the world. Get into them, see what happens. -
True but you can still assess them based on what you've seen FWIW I think McAtee goes from the sublime to the ridiculous at times but I've always been consistently impressed with Bobb. We will see.

It's quite a cool garment but not sure how it works as a football shirt
-
Yeah fair point, obviously he hasn't shown extensive periods of PL performance or anything. Just think he looks excellent technically and moves very well with the ball, probably good against low blocks etc. Will be interesting to see how he does. Also Man City probably have loads of crushing clauses in the deal which might put off other clubs.

27m for Bobb seems amazing value.

Striking civilian targets on the way over.
-
We should not consider him a 10.
-
His hand travels towards the ball but he doesn't move it there as part of any conscious action, it's a natural position and the ball deflects into his path randomly. I don't know what the law actually says but it's absolutely stupid if that should be given.
-
They have to say that TBF.
-
Well yes and no, if it’s going to take time then we might not have any choice but to back him and wait.
-
I find him really cool to watch because he's unique. He has a problem to solve adapting to a new league and especially one which is quite fast and physical, but it'll be really interesting to see how he goes about it. So much is about the team setup as well, like getting the wide forwards closer and in behind him.

Very weird when presumably if Barcola had gone through and scored the goal would've been ruled out for his own handball. Makes no sense.

Never thought I'd see so many glass-half-full takes York, I know the season has been a slog at times. All we can do is what we can do, whether it's for something or for nothing isn't really a consideration for me. We did our thing, we showed what we can do, we did ourselves proud. That's brilliant. Results are overrated anyway

Could be worse, could be better.

Checked and cleared.

Feel like there needs to be a group statue for the group of players we've had since the takeover, dunno how you would choose who makes it in
-
Slightly surprised too, but I guess if top clubs aren't interested then he needs to secure a signing bonus and a pay rise while his stock is high. Even if Forest isn't a great destination.

I kind of consider 40-50m the par price for any kind of PL proven player. Especially one who has goals or goal involvements.
