  1. Agree but it's hard to say how much is because the team is functioning quite badly and therefore he needs to defend a lot more. He runs absolutely miles at times, would be worried without that beside Bruno.
  2. He's on to a difficult task with the fans because we often want players to do the wrong thing. He even got pelters for a header he actually won near me But at the same time, he could maybe factor in that English fans generally want someone to just do the basics and punt a few shots at goal to show willing.
  3. Am I living in a parallel universe where you didn't bring up everything that's wrong "on and off the park"?
  4. I never wanted Jones so happy to peddle him as a blood sacrifice.
  5. Nobody says losing Isak explains everything but it's a massive setback. Of course if you get Ekitike it doesn't bother you so much, sadly we were rejected by about 7 strikers. And then we signed 2 proven PL attackers who have done absolutely nothing.
  6. That chance he had looks appalling on the highlights. Body position is all over the shop and hardly connects with the ball at all. Reminded me of me at 7 a-side towards the end of an hour of play.
  7. I've actually been taking solace in this without being able to name it
  8. Well yes, sure, that's the part he is responsible for. Try a thought experiment where Howe resigns on Monday. Personally I feel a lot more worried about the next 1.5 seasons than if he's still here.
  9. Feel slightly less annoyed with Howe since watching the highlights and the details. I was frustrated at the match but I didn't realise how soft their penalty was and how bad Pope does on the winner. Obviously the sheer number of mistakes made by Murphy and Trippier as well.
  10. It's not his job to fix the whole club. He already did that once.
  11. Sensible. There are so many mitigating factors that I can't see a way to attribute enough blame to Howe to say he should be sacked. Luckily 92% of people on here seem to agree. With the current situation I think I would ideally just play the same lineup every game and hope that some relationships develop and we start to click more often. However, that's extremely hard to do with things like no good GK, no fit RB of the right standard, 2 major CMs missing etc. I expect a really hard month coming up but I'd give Howe summer and next season no matter what. Also gives the new execs time to earn their money. I really hope it doesn't become bad enough that he decides to quit, then we really are in trouble.

    Nick Pope

It's truly shocking for the winner like, he's half way out or half way back, not set and not ready to make a save. Really bad.
  13. Also shows just how hard it is to suggest a better manager.
  14. Probably the most disappointing signing given he was supposed to be the reliable source of goal threat this season. Fairly disastrous for the overall plan. Still would't write off any signing at this point in their first season mind, especially after an injury like he's had.
  15. Truly appalling stuff and massive disrespect to arguably our best ever manager.
  16. Definitely feels like opponent's chances are flying in.
  17. I'd say if anything we need to go more defensive and just look for a few clean sheets at the moment. Feels sometimes like we almost feel under so much pressure to win a game that we create end-to-end matches that plays into the hands of teams that want to break on us. It's fair that opponents seem to be taking their chances at a rate that we can't believe as well.
  18. Couldn't really even hear the corner today, but TBF there wasn't much to shout about until very specific points in the second half.
  19. We've proved that ourselves TBF, until this season.
  20. He dribbles when he has nobody to pass to.
  21. We've been better than Brentford for most of that time.

    Joe Willock

Yeah, thought he was unlucky to go off, but I guess you can't take off Bruno or Tonali.
  23. The solution seems to me to revolve around playing the same players every game, something which he can't do. With the injuries, the fixture load and the rotation it's really hard to point to any relationships in the team that are really working.
  24. He struggles at times but putting Murphy in front of him is also embarrassing. Has to be one of the most error-prone right sides in the league.
