  1. He is most likely talking shite or talks with Rafa and fuckwit were more productive than either said or selling club realise there isn't a que forming and window closing
  2. You not hear about those in demand vegan sausage rolls?
  3. It's a 5 for me at the minute, honestly I feel that this season's chances are very much dependant on the other teams around us rather than ourselves. Can see little to no movement in the transfer window and therefore our success or failure this season depends on what the teams around us buy/sell/replace and any new manager bounces. Sad really as mathematically its all to play for and 4/5games can swing it positively or negatively for us and other teams very easily. I just think the squad appears like the manager a bit jaded and the 10th place finish no doubt the club will use as their defence was certainly looking like a false position based on the quality of the team.
  4. They cost in fee, agents, bonus' s, wages for life of full contract, cups of tea, kit etc etc rather than just the fee its always how they have inflated I mean made up expenditure.
  5. Risking first team injuries for a competition we clearly don't have the quality or depth to go for is why Rafa will ring in the changes I know, just offering a different perspective to it. Careful your starting to sound like me and its scary

I know shocking just keep getting the free months trial ......
  8. I know i know radio silence is their default approach but wouldn't stop non Ashley sympathizer press asking the questions. It's frightening how little you hear from big and small potatoes.
  9. I just dunno how another failed take over would be spun, only thing i can think of they will struggle to talk there way out of is transfers. Especially as the team are struggling the fans forum stance of the squad finished 10th an we brought in new editions dont really ring true at this points. Heavy defeats to Chelsea and spurs and no one coming in would be toxic.
  10. Feckin ell i was about to say 'Hi Lee' you bald cunt. Yes sir? I reckon you got it word for word. Including not being able to spell "been" since the club has history of hand written notes typos make multi million pound organisations more human and approachable and heartfelt yes?

    Lee Charnley

I wish he really was Mr potatoe head I could enjoy taking the little man to pieces
  13. If it goes go tits up you can write the press release/narrative yourself: "Parties have neen patiently afford every opportunity to find the resources needed, didn't demand payment in full as an option to allow initial investment. We will continue to actively seek a buyer best suited to take the club forward. We ask all supporters to pull together and support Rafa and the team for what will be a key second half of the season" Or summit like that
  14. Or he really doesn't have all the funds and is taking Ashley up on staggered payments brighthouse style and its when the payments are due and what penalty/liability repercussions there are for failing to make said payment. I really believe if it was as simple as i want X give me it we would have been sold prior to this. It may be lucrative or favourative SD clauses but unless next time we have a very open owner next we may never know. And no iam not keen on the Sunderland owners Twitter style openness. So many what ifs I understand if you have bought a house its complicated and money wise its like being an entire town so I realise these things have to be allowed to go at their own pace. But press are now saying this has rumbled on since October and as far as i know they aren't at exclusivity stage yet.
  15. Exactly. Maximise our commercial potential, use the TV money correctly, what’s so hard? Iam not disagreeing with either of that sentiment at all the league revenue should allow you to "top up" the club year in year out with annual investment. To be honest thats a requirement anyway to avoid standing still. Iam thinking more along the lines of the short term work required to the ground, training facilities etc in terms of the playing squad while its bad mojo to replace your entire team and in our case they all need up grading bar one or two. Start to look at the normal open market again and you could spend alot of money. Work around to that I guess if a wealthy owner doesn't come along is to stagger the payments over multi years like spurs and everyone else has done. That's a policy that cripples us at the minute for sure but also means you aren't still paying for players you have since moved on. Not expecting the new owner to throw 500 million at the squad or anything like that just would be nice to know if we need a boost they are there. New income streams can be found depending on 1 if Ashley allows a clean break from Newcastle and SD and 2 the length of time left on shirt and shirt sponsor deals. Also success brings in bigger and better deals a new owner with minimal investment over say 2 windows wont bring in huge clients instantly. As long as we are run fairly and can see some sort of year to year and say 5 year strategy I would take it in a heartbeat.
  16. It won’t be true. Even when you read the article there is nothing to suggest that he’s doing anything like a crowd funding campaign, sounds more like he’s been trying to get investors. Not that I believe the article but that's still a slight worry in of itself why go to try and buy the club not having sufficient funds to do so. Also while may be able to generate our own income unless he is keeping a massive amount to one side the rebuild to the infrastructure and team run into the 100's of millions. Is he going to put it all on as club debt would be a worry. There is no reason other than the Sun’s lies to think that Kenyon is far off the funds to buy the club. To be fair its all about filling the paper with something but the media line from the leak of who were these mystery bidders said he was short of the 280/300 sale price. Now could be bollocks could be he doesn't think we are worth it or he has more money but it's set aside for a short term and costly rebuild job.
  17. There's been good stories lately? Guess the kids must have hidden my glasses at that point.

  19. Any fee above 12 million and if i am in a more depressed mood involves money going out I instantly dismiss. Bargin bucket and loans at best for us at the minute.
  20. I dont think iam qualified to say what his intentions were either to begin with or what it turned into. I also feel tainted in the sense that I dont trust as far as i could throw him but looking back now he has as far as iam aware no big links to the area, no real passion for football other than selling football related items in his stores, maybe he was all along looking for an asset to further the SD brand. Maybe it was an impulse buy and the first wrong (of many) decisions stopped him swigging pints in the stands and looking at what Newcastle United can do for him. Maybe he feels a self of power and entitlement and being the pantomime villain gets his rocks off. Who knows and frankly who cares he just needs to go but that's like telling me to leave after a half a plate in to an all you can eat buffet. How much more can he squeeze out of the club and us before he is done.
  21. Taken from the september mins: Sports Direct There is now an agreement in place whereby Sports Direct pays for all advertising in the stadium. Sports Direct is only allocated what the club doesn’t sell and that arrangement can be terminated immediately by the club if another company is willing to pay more on a fair commercial basis. I guess we need to wait until this years accounts to see if thats true unless clever accounting once again marks how much it is and where its gone. Be interesting to know how much the club think all of the SD advertising is actually worth a season 20million? Or more.
  22. Wow...gullible much? Dunno what you mean? Simply playing devils advocate I don't really get angry anymore about our situation I am not a billionaire I therefore cannot do anything about it. Very poor analogy but if i owned a sandwich bar and made myself a meal with the shops resources do I put the money in the till or do I think I own the place I would only be paying myself. Poor example which is why I said he looks after his top brand SD first even if it is to the massive detrement to the club. Never once said I believed any of the propaganda pumped out by the club or its representatives. If he owned a sandwich bar (SD) and took bread from a bakery he owned (NUFC) for free to make his sandwiches, causing the bakery to end up with sub-standard staff and equipment, there's a problem. But as you say, nothing we can do about it other than turn up and pay for sandwiches made of shit Spanish chorizo, and complain non-stop to other customers whilst handing our cash over. See you get what I mean about it being a shite analogy
  23. I would have thought the 22/25million quoted was the only stumbling block that matters as we won't pay it.
