He's Viduka's cousin so thats the only reason I can see him choosing us over anybody else.

So Eto'o reckons he's still rusty when he's scoring goals like that!! If thats the case then i know who im backing for the Champions League.

Looks like its gonna be quite an open tournament. Will be interesting watching it as a 100% neutral. -
<Snip. Football videos are not allowed on the site, sorry.> Wouldnt mind some of this at SJP.

Van Der Vaart is already world class imo Sneijder will be in a few years Nasri has potential but needs to leave Marseille soon

On SSN earlier had a caption showing Viduka and Smith scored 71 goals between them in 90 games together almost a goal a game. It's a proven partnership so it makes sense. Just hope everyone gives the lad a chance before slating him - we write players off a little early sometimes!!

Apparently Adu has agreed to join Benfica. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=449109

Terrible pitch at St. Andrews can see it being a typical cup tie with little football being played on the floor. 1-1 methinks

Buying players from S***land!! Must be desperate haha.

I was at that match I laughed tbh Why laugh at a player getting injured? He was unbelievable the season they went unbeaten and that was after his injury. He's a quality player would have done well at the world cup that summer if he hadnt got injured against us. Look at his goalscoring record could teach our wide players a thing or two about chipping in with goals imo!!

It was nice for him to be part of the World Cup winning side this year I thought. A player who has stuck with (largely) one club throughout his career and given his all for the national side, with that much talent, and opportunity deserves a bit of luck. I dunno why but I always had a feeling he would sign for us one day, especially during the Keegan era. Funny. Del Piero has been so overrated it's untrue throughout his entire career, he was a shadow of the player post 99 and that knee injury, only about two seasons ago he was actually consistent and was a vital part in Juve winning the title with that overhead kick at Meelan to set up Trezeguet I think it was. Over than that he's been overrated due to his status as some sort of demi-god by the Juventus fans. Granted Del Piero was never the same player after his knee injury but he was still pretty special for Juve throughout the years. It's because he hasnt really done that much at international level (apart from in the summer) that he's not considered as highly. If he didn't get that injury he would have been one of the best ever for me. Del Boy gets my vote

It's only one player man. We kept him quiet enough last season why not tomorrow? Probably Ramage for me.

We didnt produce Waddle - came from Tow Law We didnt produce Shearer - Wallsend then Southampton We didnt produce Carrick - Wallsend then West Ham We didnt produce Keegan - Scunthorpe Beardsley was told he wasnt good enough and went to play in Canada Therefore Gazza apart (unfortunately) your mate is right!
