makes me happy that he at least reads the social media criticism though. he'd be even more insufferable if he avoided it all and thought he was doing a great job.
-
so despite over 12 months in the job, £100m net spend, over half of rafa's team replaced (joelinton, lewis, fraser, hendrick, ASM, Carrol, Wilson)... the cunt is still inferring that its rafa's fault.

did Dier not jump and put his arms up hoping that if he was beaten to the ball, then it would "accidentally" be blocked from going back across the box by hitting his arm? just really really trying to be devil's advocate here.
-
do one for shola like that and we could have sold him for £100m.
-
lets just go back to the VAR of the 2018 russian world cup.
-
think we played stoke home one season when jack butland had an absolute 10/10 against. we hammered them but just couldnt get passed him.
-
why the fuck can he not take a corner properly?

Keepers can’t encroach now (I know they weren’t supposed to anyway but it’s being clamped down on more). It’s how it should be really, advantage should always be with the team who have the penalty. noticed a few have changed their starting positions to behind the line. its just natural to take a step forward when facing a pella.

ritchie is marginally better- occasionally gets some whip swerve and pace on the ball.
-
Doesn't want to risk an injury that ruins his chances of a transfer. Can't say I blame him. he's worked us out pretty quickly hasnt he?
-
its not so much the system, its the players he uses in it. starting a game with carrol up top with wilson, ffs.
-
some really low expectations there.
-
4231 would have made sense.
-
Loves throwing himself to the ground like. that first challenge where he flung both arms up and threw himself to the floor was completely embarrassing and should have had a yellow card.
-
did very well today.
-
the price tag causes a big probem in that Bruce has to shove him in somewhere. if he had been £15m or so he would have had to earn a place.
-
doesnt matter. the more people call out Bruce's bullshit, the better.
-
has the fat cunt done absolutely no analysis of his squad? scary how everybody else can see Miggy is better on the left of centre. but no, he has to shoehorn joelinton in.
-
the state of ashley at the end, man. bet the fucker goes in and congratulates Brewcy and the lads.
-
that was it. had he scored that last night, he could have finally fucking retired. I was desperate for him to come on and get a goal. howay Andy, man. ffs.

fuck me, alex mccleish. how many matches have you actually watched us play? PFM crew in full effect. Former Scotland and Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has praised the job Steve Bruce is doing at Newcastle. The Magpies have had a mixed start to the season, with last night's 7-0 Carabao Cup win at Morecambe coming on the back of a 3-0 Premier League defeat to Brighton. However, United started the season with wins over West Ham and Blackburn, and McLeish was full of praise for the work Bruce has done on Tyneside - insisting he enjoyed watching his side. “Amazing. Honestly, in a way I’m not amazed at Steve doing a good job because I know him very well," McLeish told Football Insider following the win at the Mazuma Arena. “I lived quite near him in the Midlands when I was at Birmingham and he’d just left Birmingham but he was staying in the same house when he was travelling to Wigan. “I know the quality of Steve and the type of man-manager he is, the players will love him, I’m sure, players will want to play for him because he’s got a charisma but he also knows the game inside out. “He was getting compared to Rafa Benitez immediately when he arrived and the very first points he dropped it was: ‘He’s not going to be as good as Rafa’ but he proved to do even better in terms of the league position and they turned out to be quite exciting. “I was quite enjoying watching them at the end of the season, they were quite an exciting team to watch.” United head to Spurs on Sunday looking for their third away win of the season, and their fourth clean sheet.

pisses me off every fucking time i hear him say that . that and his tongue.
-
second one was fucking ridiculous. comedy gold. its like he's got ADHD or something.

would love bruce to explain why it would have been "unfair" to drop carrol against brighton but not unfair keep miggy out of the first team.
