    Jacob Murphy

agreed. especially as we had aarons as back up winger.
  2. agreed we need at the very least a LB, CM and a striker. but we'll have no more than £30m to spend (i doubt we'll even have that), and that doesnt really say much for the quality we will be able to bring in. especially during a january window.
  3. he was having to deal with the winger and the runner today - little help from ritchie outside him and no cover from lejeune inside. if he went for the winger there'd be an easy ball inside fir the runner, if he kept central the winger was free. fucked either way. problem of going 442 i think.
  4. would have been better off had murphy or even gouffran stayed
  5. not being cheeky or owt, like, but when is it ok to panic? 1 win in the last 8. 4 defeats in a row, and only one of them was to a top 4-6 team. persistance in playing players out of their depths when there are alternatives. refusing to make changes till its too late in the game (not just today). inability to get a single point from huddersfield, brightom, burnley, bournemouth and watford.

fuck off! they never heard of Sewpa, Bally, Sir Niall, Marco Goalo....
  7. We played well first half should arguably had been 2-0 up, but their was a lack of clear goal-scoring chances which Bournemouth had 2nd half while ours were great hits by Ritchie and Atsu. It's one of the reasons why I can't totally blame our strikers for their lack of goals as creativity is at minimum in our midfield currently. gayle missed a sitter with his header at the far post.
  8. aye, 2 on 2 on the half way line at one point and he just needed to knock it over the top. was fucking screaming at him!

    Rolando Aarons

It's a bit hard to in 5 minute cameos. tbf aarons has shown more in his cameos this season.
  10. unfortunately rafa doesn't seem to rate him at all. looked much better than murphy when he has been on the pitch.
  11. even if we get taken over and rafa is offered £200m, i feel he'd spend very little of it in january - maybe just pick up a striker and a 10 and then concentrate on the summer transfer activity.
  12. its still a stupid thing to do - could easily have had our winning goal ruled out.
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41710315 'Benitez is capable of winning title with Newcastle'
  14. that Manilow "Mandy" song has definite potential.

    England

really was a waste of an opportunity for him. clearly wasn't interested in anything other than trying to look good himself.... which he failed at also.

    Alan Shearer

    its an excellent interview.
  17. doesnt want to invest in january - smokescreen of trying to sell the club - BANG! window slams shut - Cunt takes us off the market and rakes in even more tv money.
  18. loved the club. unlike the current owner.
  19. yeah, he was in it for the money as well, but he loved this club and wanted the best for it. overambitious, but why not? just didnt have the foresight, the planning or the judgement. would either want to spunk the lot, or "keep the powder dry". anyone who didnt like him... howay, if Sir Bobby could forgive , so can you. (Maybe not for appointing Sourness though). RIP.
  20. I thought the opposite tbh. Thought he changed us against Huddersfield, played well and got his goal against West Ham, and was a great save away from another at Swansea in which he played his part. Think it's been 50% good and 50% poor so far. 1 goal, 1 header well saved, 4 decent chances missed (1 an open goal) - think 50% good is generous. Which one was the open goal? would you not class today's as open goal? The one with the keeper standing in front of him when he shot? aye, a yard or 2 in front of him with the rest of the goal gaping.
