We actually played well that game. Remember Leon Best missing a sitter, then scored a hat-trick 3 days later. Was the early days of Pardew and I think the Colo shot was a set piece from a corner. Can remember people saying how refreshing it was to see something different. Did he ever try that one again as I can't remember anything but Williamson on the far post. I was struck on Saturday about how varied our set pieces were.

Lansbury obvious has a reputation going by that Karl Henry tweet. He also has previous regarding getting one of our players sent off. It happened in the last Championship against Watford with Nolan the victim. I remember going to a Talk In with Nolan and he was asked about the players he disliked most and he named Lansbury for deliberately getting him sent off in that game. I think they ended up playing together at West Ham.

I posted this in 2013. He's done exactly the same at Palace, lived off Pulis's defence for a year or so then after a few personnel changes and enough time, everything completely goes to s*** and his teams eventually ship 3, 4 and 5 on a regular basis. Astonishing post. I have seen posts on the Crystal Palace forum that are almost verbatim to your 2013 post.Just replacing Hughton with Pulis. He's still pulling the same tricks. What are his actual qualifications as a manager? Has he actually ever done anything in a learning capacity regarding badges etc? I also saw a post last week on one of their forums where they said that when they look back on that amazing run when he first came in, that they had a lot of luck as a lot of those games were won by one goal where the game could have gone either way. Exactly the same with our 5th season.

What is his motivation now he's at the "big" club he has always dreamed of.

Yes there is an away season ticket but you have to have a lot of loyalty points and it is for supporters who go to every away game so you can't pick and choose your games.

I don't think you can interact with people in the way he does if you are not genuine. There was a lot of hostility towards him at Chelsea so it would make more sense if he was a little distant there.
