One thing for sure is that those photos will be used as PR by the club. Certainly gives a good impression of the support. -
We would think that and then he would pick up points against the more difficult teams and go on a mini run again.

£9.8m according to this article. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-already-done-first-bit-12133970?

Mitro will probably play the Serbia games which will allow Rafa to "rest" him on his return and play Gayle in the Leeds game.

The clubs might complain about our financial advantage but they are certainly benefiting financially from our presence.

I can't ever remember them getting so much media attention. So many discussions about them on the radio and press articles about how bad they are.

Especially for us in our current state. The whole club needs rebuilding and there are very few managers out there who are capable of that. A lot of the high profile foreign managers work with DoFs and so only need to worry about coaching the first team. We needed more than that.

I don't think the club will do anything to risk promotion. They are losing Mbemba for the ACoN so to sell Lascelles in January would make no sense. If there were offers for him in the Summer and Rafa thinks he can find better, then he will go. He is doing well at the moment but it has only been the last 6 months so he still has a lot to prove especially in the Premier League. If he continues to improve, he will be in demand due to the lack of good English centre halves. I am not sure of his contract situation but he probably deserves a new one now that he is captain and I bet many of his teammates are earning a lot more than him. Maybe one with incentives based on promotion.

Great isn't it. Leading goalscorer missing - no problem, Mitro is ready to step in.

I don't think Allardyce left on the best of terms with regards to Ellis Short. I seem to remember the press release regarding his departure was a bit mean-spirited considering he had kept them up. Also I don't think he was too impressed with the transfer budget. Short made a point of saying he had tried to get Moyes on about 5 occasions so he was obviously their preferred choice when they appointed Allardyce. In view of that he would look pretty stupid to have lost faith in Moyes so quickly.

In recent years, Leeds have always charged high prices. I've heard a lot of away fans complain about their prices. I think their home tickets are also expensive compared to other clubs in the Championship.

Hawksbee and Jacobs on Talksport used to regularly read out excerpts from the book in a Steve Bruce voice a few years back. Was quite amusing.

Rafa certainly sounds as if he is a lot more relaxed with his players these days than he was at Liverpool.
