One thing I will say about Carver is that he seems to have taken more from Pardew's methods in terms of tactics and team Selection that he did from working with Sir Bobby which is indicative of his intelligence.

To be fair to the lad he seems to have done well in training and for the reserves so if he tries hard and doesnt even get a chance on the pitch you'd be fucked off.

I bet Palace have never had so much publicity as this. Do we think if it was Alan Irvine getting the Palace job the coverage would be the same?
