  1. I'm pretty sure Oba signed a new deal without the clause. There was talk of it a while back at the least.
  2. The Arsenal comment was clearly about bring through and buying youngsters as a model for the future, nothing to do with who goes out and gets them. Arsenal wouldn't have a model if someone was doing business above Wenger's head. But we haven't got a manager anywhere near the standard of Wenger so your point in irrelevant. I don't see what the class of Wenger has to do with it, I'm saying they wouldn't have a model at all if wasn't for a manager who works within it. As he says, that doesn't involve people signing players above his head. In fact you're defeating your own argument; why try emulate Arsenal when the mastermind of their model is vastly superior to what we have (your words)? How is it even possible? Because we go about it in another way, we don't have a manager that's good enough to emulate Wenger so you brake the roles up within the club, we just need to bring in a manager that will work within our system and we can move on, Keegan clearly wasn't that manager which is the biggest mistake the club has made. We haven't got a Wenger so we put in a Dennis Wise over the manager's head? Yeah, that makes us much better
  3. 4 fucking games in man, lads. Anything can happen yet for crying out loud.
  4. If by other business you mean getting shit-faced then yes, yes he was. In fact I have some 'other business' to attend to myself tomorrow night
  5. Would I shite. We're better than that, despite what's going on at the club.
  6. One day, Dennis...all of this will be yours.
  7. I've got him at Newcastle on footy manager, he's a good player like
  8. Probably because he was told he'd be attacked which to be fair is embarrassing as fuck on us lot.
  9. I mentioned something along the lines of this last night. It gets right on my fucking tits when people just bring the "toon fans have far too big expectations" label out when it has nothing to do with the situation at hand. We just want the manager to have the final say on transfers and not be forced out of the club when we were doing well, especially when the director of football is less qualified and proven than the manager ffs.
  10. Mike Ashley and this whole situation reminds me of Hulk Hogan turning bad and forming the nWo tbh "New-New-Newcastle World Order! We are in control!"
  11. What I don't like is that the statement makes us look like we want him out because we weren't spending £65 cajillion on Robinho whereas we actually want the board out because of the way they have structured the club and also the treatment of Keegan, making us an absolute shambles of a club in the eyes of everyone. Que the critics coming in blaming the fans for high expectations as they always do whilst I think it's fair to say most of us were fine not spending so much as long as we strengthened the areas we badly needed to, and also got results on the pitch, which we also seemed to be getting under KK.
  12. Right thats fucking it... FUCKING COME OONNNNNNN YA BASTAAAARDS!!! BLACK N' WHITE ARMY!!! :colo:
  13. I feel fucking sick. Sure, I have flu and constant coughing and sniffing doesn't help but this is absolutely diobolical. We're in a pit of shite and it doesn't seem we're gonna be able to climb out of it
  14. nobody called for his head because he was/is doing very well. very decent squad, financial stability and a good start to the season. thats the best PR we could hope for in my eyes. ps. keegan himself said he had the final say plenty of times when he knew he didnt, so why isnt he the liar? Because he walked out over it. why didnt he walk earlier then? he must have know early on in the window but said nothing about it/"i have the final say" I'm guessing because he had no say what-so-ever in the deadline day deals, and also the sale of Milner who he wanted to keep. keegan said it was his decision to sell milner though. both "sides" seem to have told a few lies so the quicker everyone accepts keegan is also guilty of this the better. When he walked his statement suggested otherwise though. Obviously the club will tell him to say that to keep the media quiet and avoid even more "crisis" headlines.

  16. Hmmm that was a quick change of heart like. Last night SSN were saying no future talks are planned
  17. Typical of him and his cronies really, spineless when it comes to the truth.

  19. Nobody called for his head because like the thread says, PR must improve as we had no idea of what was happening, and have more so been lied to by the club by them saying Keegan had the final say. When the time comes for answers, everybody seems to just run and hide in the shadows until they can think of someone to talk their talk.
