I don't mind the silence at all, just as long as there is some indication from the club that we are willing to show some ambition and put the money up for good players who are capable of doing a job in the team now, not in 5 years or so. There is no time like the present etc. It does seem that we are willing to do that though when you look at our bids for Woodgate and Modric.

I agree with that. Liverpool are enough to put me to sleep. With some of the players they've got you'd think they'd be a bit more exciting. Also, did anyone else prefer the old format of the Champions League where they would go into a 2nd group phase? I thought it was quite good.

I could live with Blackburn away as we normally tend to get at least a point from there with the exception of this season. Plus it'd be worth seeing Allardyce blame the weather or his chewing gum when we beat them
