At four years old, man? Howay. Your folks f***ed you up pretty bad didn't they? Cole, i don't know, i was very young then. Shearer, i was only 5. I can remember helping me dad in the garden, when my mum came out and said we'd signed him. My dad went loopy, but i wasn't really aware. One of my earliest football memories though, if you can call it that. Well maybe i was sitting winging about going to nursery? i know f*** all these days, do you even go to nursery at the age of 4 ? Could have easily been your 95th for anyone who doesn't know you. The feeling of confusion, not knowing who anybody is etc. Funny how things can go full-circle in life isn't it

Probably means the club they got him from.

Can Valencia play through the middle? I wouldn't mind seeing a player like him here tbh, very pacey and skillful. On top of that, maybe Seb Larsson or Arda, just someone who is creative enough and can supply the front line, a solid DM, possibly a versatile full back and a good striker to replace Viduka would please me this window. However we could use a tough centre half as well as I don't think Cacapa is gonna last here much longer. Would love to see us get Coloccini and Bentley is a good shout too, even if his attitude isn't the greatest, neither was Bellamy's.

Reminds me of that camp ref.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article1411473.ece It's time to boot out Blatter! THE SUN wants you to back our bid to give Sepp Blatter the boot! The FIFA president has outraged the world of football with his ridiculous remarks for far too long. This week he slammed Manchester United and amazingly claimed footballers are modern-day SLAVES, a view supported by Red Devils ace Cristiano Ronaldo. Blatter insisted the Portuguese superstar should be free to leave Old Trafford and fulfill a dream move to Real Madrid, despite having a five-year contract at Old Trafford. It was the latest in a long string of controversial comments from the Swiss supremo. In 2004, Blatter felt the wrath of female footballers when he suggested they should wear tighter shorts to promote the women's game. His hair-brained idea to introduce the 'silver goal' rule to decide games in the first period of extra time was slammed by fans and lasted just one tournament before it was dumped. Blatter also bemused supporters when he called for all players to be booked for taking off their shirts when they celebrate scoring a goal - incredibly the rule still stands. More recently he has angered European politicians by pushing for a limit on the amount of foreign players in the Premier League, even though it would be against EU law. His rant on Ronaldo was the final straw. Enough is enough. Blatter is the man who runs world football and he has lost all credibility. So, if you want the FIFA president removed from power - sign our petition below! Link is at the bottom of the article for anyone who wants to sign it. Can't see it making any difference tbh, even though I'd actually hope it does as he's an absolute gobshite.

Cole: I was at school when one of the lads in our class told everyone Cole was leaving, I was absolutely gutted. Shearer: I'm pretty sure I was in the house for that one. Keegan left on my birthday
-
I'm gutted we never went for Crouch tbh as he's a fairly similar player to Viduka, just younger and less fat.
-
What about if anyone who's good does?
-
Oh...
-
I was referring to him, not everybody mate.

Liverpool did...

We finished the same place 3 seasons ago and were a shambles but still got Michael Owen so I'm not having that Always expect the unexpected in football no matter who it is I'd say, and I'm sure this bloke wouldn't find Newcastle all that shabby tbh. FFS it's as if we're forbidden to sign anyone good, by our own fans as well man fucking hell
-
Lol true that but they did have their moments. Spuds away both seasons would be a good example
-
Does anyone know why they stopped making these for Newcastle? Or if in fact they'll be bringing one out for this season gone? Obviously, we haven't had the best of seasons recently but I thought they were still quite interesting to look back on in certain areas.
-
Has anyone tried inverting the colours on our 05-07 home shirt? Would be a really nice home top for us when we change it again

Didn't know where else to put this so I'll just stick it here for now. Typical same old shite really http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article1379422.ece I'll sell Toon for £420m By STEVE BRENNER Published: Today rigTeaserImage MIKE ASHLEY is willing to sell Newcastle for £420million. The Toon supremo named his price last month when a New York finance company made an approach to buy the club. Ashley told private equity investors InterMedia Partners — based in the swanky Chrysler Building — he wanted £420m to seal the deal. The Americans’ interest was so serious, owner Ashley permitted them to see all of Newcastle’s financial documents, accounts and records. And both sides were forced to sign gagging orders, banning them from ever disclosing details of the talks. An insider confirmed: “The Americans specialise in investing in sport and wanted to break into the soccer market in Europe. They thought Newcastle would be the ideal starting place for them.” Speculation has been rife in City markets for the past six months that mega-bucks Ashley has been on the lookout for a buyer — if the price was right. The Yanks were hoping Ashley would sell at around £320m — and were shocked when the Toon owner wanted £100m more. Our insider added: “As soon as Ashley asked for £420m the deal was dead. “The Americans were interested but didn’t think they could justify that level of investment.” Billionaire Ashley bought Newcastle from Freddy Shepherd last year for £137m and took on around £80m of debts. But the fact he has now put a price on the club will only create more uncertainty for boss Kevin Keegan. He is still rebuilding his relationship with Ashley after an outburst at the end of last term resulted in the manager being hauled down to London for showdown talks.
