I'd be there if I could. Must be great to be there tonight.

Fantastic mate. I bet Sky feel like right idiots now not to televise this. This is a classic.

WHAT A COMEBACK THIS IS BRILLIANT
-
Is it worth boycitting Barclays? It'd have to be properly organised to make it worthwhile, rather than personal protest. I've got a barclays account and i'm not going to cancel it unless there's a widespread boycott.

No chance. They fluked through last season getting late goals but now they've been found out. They'll be battling with Villa for the last Europa league spot. Spurs and City have overtaken them and they'll be the ones to drop out of the top 4. Oh come on, i hope your WUM'ming because that is frankly ridiculous. You must of missed the tonking they gave Man Utd, Real Madrid and most over teams last season then. Freak result. Real Madrid were awful last season and they aren't going to beat Man United and Chelsea twice again. They aren't the same side without Alonso and Gerrard and Torres are their only top players now. Defensively they are suspect. They only lost twice last year in the league and now losing one player it's going to make them a completely different team... ok! They are going to be chasing that last Europa spot .. based on 2 and a half games .. ok! Yet by the looks of it, they've lost two games already and its still August.

Liverpool won't finish in the top 4.

Martin Tyler: "Take note of this score. Liverpool 0 Aston Villa 2" As if we're f***ing Burton Albion. Christ, I f***ing hate Sky and their big four wankfests. I can't see Liverpool finishing top 4 this season anyway.

Rather have Enrique TBH. He's getting on now.
-
Great prospect but well done the queue behind Krul. Maybe this move will help his development.
-
Ridiculous if true. League two ffs. From the BBC article: Are they having a laugh?
-
Be great to see Novak and Clarky at St James'.
-
If Michael Ball is happy to sit on the bench then he'd offer good cover for Enrique. Sol would be a great signing, Loven would be a good partner for Shola at this level. Not sure about Misfud though. Personally i'd like to see us bring a few in from Arsenal like Birmingham did.
-
Surely Ashley wouldn't put his neck on the line by announcing an extended deadline unless it was set to go through. Just have to wait a bit longer.
-
Bring players in on loan then if you want to be pedantic about it. Christ. Bloody pedant.
-
Doesn't matter really because we can still buy loan players after the deadline. What's important is not to lose many more this week. Colo and Jonas may leave but the likes of Taylor, Smith and Enrique must stay. What's wrong with that?

Like it or not he will score loads and will go to the World Cup.
-
Its an extremely poor league which we should win comfortably.
-
They've got absoloutely no chance of winning the World Cup with Diego in charge. They probably won't even qualify.
-
He's in his bathrobe and slippers now. Does this mean he's staying?

Yeah, England's options up front is much better than Messi, Tevez, Aguero and Milito or Ribery, Anelka, Benzema and Henry. I did say apart from the Argies but Messi and Aguero aren't strikers. You may as well include Lampard and Gerrard then as they're attacking midfielders. Tevez? Couldn't get a game at Man U ahead of England's Wayne Rooney? Milito? No better than Defoe. Who else do they have up front? Anelka - never really done it for France Henry - That's one i'll give you Benzema - Good player but you wouldn't swap him for Rooney. And beyond them 3 who do France have? I would. For once though, you do have a semblance of a point. Defoe is not much behind Milito if at all. And the Argies are too lightweight, they will fail again if they play a decent northern European team who's defence will physically bully them. That's being kind. I'd be surprised if Argentina even qualify with Maradona in charge. Even Kinnear would do better.
-
To be fair I think it took him a year here to realise he's no longer a Manchester United and England player and the injury slowed him down and knocked him for 6. I expect him to be back to his best this season.

Lampard and Gerrard aren't central midfielders, they're attacking midfielders. Gerrard plays off Torres for Liverpool, they aren't in the middle of 4-4-2 players. Lampard always plays in front of Essien and Mikel. Messi is not a striker. He's an attacking midfielder and so is Aguero. As for Milito, he was at Genoa last season.
