  1. @CanalFootClub On Twitter "@CanalFootClub: Info #CFC - Rémi Garde va entraîner Aston Villa. Réginald Ray serait l'un de ses adjoints." Looks like he's coming.
  2. That unrealistic expectations thing is fucking bullshit. Yeah, Paul, that's right, expecting to maybe win more than four home league games a season - something we'd done in every single year of our 140 year history until you changed that - was totally unrealistic. I can honestly say over the last five years, the expectations of Villa fans have been lower than at any point i can remember in the last 40 years. That's why so many of them stuck by you for so long, you gigantic cunt.
  3. That went well last time. I seem to remember a great result against us. Apparently this evening we have looked "well organised". Not heard that for a while.
  4. Come on, Kevin Mac, yet again our caretaker manager.
  5. Wenger looks entirely unbothered. I've looked sadder than that when I've got to work and realised I've left my sandwiches at home.
  6. I was irate listening to that analysis. Just completely avoiding any mention that he just might not have been very good at his job. Nothing about him playing a centre forward who can only do one thing - head the ball - for 90 mins with no wide players at all, or picking one actual CM to play Swansea. And that was just yesterday. I've seen more shocking "tactics" in the last 10 matches we've played than in the previous 10 years. Lambert and McLeish were fucking useless, but their main problem wasn't the fact they didn't understand basic concepts like "when you're 2 up away from home but under the cosh with 25 minutes left, what you don't do is take off a defensive midfielder and put on a striker who is struggling to settle in" (Leicester away). Shocking. How is it even possible for a manager to win once, first day of the season, and have stats like P10 W1 D1 L8, get the sack and not even have a mention of how it came about? It's like when you inevitably end up sacking McClaren, it'll be how you've got unrealistic expectations, and not one of these cunts will point out that you're second bottom (or whatever) or just been knocked out the FA Cup by Gosforth Paper Boys XI or whatever humiliation you've undergone.
  7. Jenas: "Their net spend was 5m which says it all" Well, it doesn't, it doesn't point out that we raised 45m in sales, so he actually spent 50m. I hate the English football establishment. They practically urinate on fans, they pay us so little respect. In that MOTD mention, there was not a single word uttered about Sherwood's performance, not one.
  8. I can see why Souness would back Pearson  Souness and Pearson are two men who'd bite the balls off each other then have a pint calling themselves real men. If there is one club whose fans have a right to be sick to the tits of the conveyor belt of shit, stuck in the past British managers, it is us. Well, and you.
  9. It absolutely doesn't. Honestly, trust me. It is Sherwood's bizarre tactics that fucked it up. Five at the back at home to Stoke, one CM against Swansea yesterday, 2-0 up at Leicester 25 mins to go, under the cosh, brings off a midfielder, puts on a striker. Lose 3-2. I could go on, trust me. Utterly clueless. The summer signings, though, most of them are pretty well thought of by the fans. The clearest case I have ever seen - anywhere - of a manager failing to get the most from what he has. We often say the same thing here. Doesn't mean our squad is any good. I think you have some decent central defenders and some decent wide forward players but elsewhere I don't see a lot of quality. Your team seems unbalanced like ours is. The team is unbalanced because he sends it out that way. The squad is decent, but thus far this season, it has been set up truly ridiculously. Out of interest, who do you consider your main striker? I was looking at your squad list and the best I could see would be Agbonlahor out of position? Actually, for that matter, what do you see as your best 11? Probably our best striker is Kozak, who is ostracised under Sherwood. If there's a weakness, it is up front.

  12. So frighteningly familiar. Brummie going through exactly what we went through. Can't wait to hear Jermaine Jenas lazily opine that Tim is doing a good job on MOTD tonight.
  13. Tim seems to be holding on to a groundswell of support from the fans according to the one forum I just took a look at. http://i.imgur.com/pCCebbq.jpg Running since today's game only, but even so .....
  14. Staggering. Post match interview: "Am I going to be in the job next week? I'm not the person to ask. I feel like the club is in a hole. "I am disappointed with the result, we didn't deserve to lose the game. We can't carry anyone because we're getting done. At the moment we are short. If people don't give everything we'll come up short. "There's no shortage in desire but the quality is not quite there. We're not world beaters. Our league position suggests we're not and today wasn't our day." See, it's everyone's fault except his. This cunt will throw every other fucker under the bus to save himself. He is poison.

  16. Ronaldo and TCD will be talking him up to manage us again if he goes get the bullet He'll be damaged goods apart from in the Savvern press of course. MOTD tonight they'll be telling us he's doing a good job. 8 defeats from 10, no wins since first day of the season, which was our only win, but they'll tell the world he's doing a good job. They'll point out that he lost Delph and Benteke but ignore the fact he got all that money to spend, with the implication being that that's why we are so shit - which totally ignores Southampton selling a whole team and doing very well. I hate him, and I hate the fucking British media circus in football that promotes halfwits like him way beyond their station, and then protects its own, in the manner of people who last paid to watch a match when they were about 10 years old.
  17. Sherwood is flapping in his post-match interview. Can't see him lasting the weekend. He spent last week telling the world he didn't want the players signed over the summer. Well, two of them, Ayew and Gueye, were very good today, and the one he has said he did want, Gestede, was laughably poor. I just cant stand this bloke, he's utterly fucking horrible. Every single thing the Spurs fans said about him was absolutely right.
  18. P10 W1 D1 L8 And the W1 was fortunate, and on the first day of the season. If we are even going to pretend to have any pride left, we have got to sack this clueless gobshite right now. Swansea were utterly awful. Truly awful, yet still took all three points. Awful team selection, awful tactics.
  19. As a neutral, that was really entertaining to watch. Which is nice after so long of watching us play, believe me. You looked dangerous as fuck on the break, but to be honest, and this won't go down well, 6-2 was hugely flattering. I thought Norwich looked the better side for long spells of the match. Some fucking awful defending, though. What a lift, though, six goals. In one match. At home. Some good goals as well. I dream of stuff like that.
  20. And knowing our luck, all fucking three will go down, thus making that league more interesting but much harder to get out of. Just when the massive TV money kicks in, too.
  21. Last season, BTW, Cesare Prandelil was "outed" in an interview on the club site as being a Villa fan. He is currently out of work. Speak to him, FFS. I don't doubt Rodgers is better than Sherwood, but fuck me, that is the faintest of faint praise. He also managed to get himself thoroughly out-tacticked by Sherwood last year, and several times by that magician of the game Lambert. I'm through with know-fuck-all British managers, or up-and-coming Brits, I've had enough of them. Get someone who has a proven CV they can point to, someone who has the first idea what they're doing. Tom Fox, our CEO, said last year that Sherwood was the only name on the list of possible Lambert replacements. Imagine that. Imagine that kind of fucking stupidity.
  22. I thought he might of done a bit better than he has done there like. Mind they are like us Villa, a totally lifeless club inside and out and just like us, I fear its a total regime change needed and not always a new manager, if they are to get better. Nothing will change seriously for the better till Lerner fucks off, that is definitely true. However, things could change a bit for the better if we finally appointed a manager with a proven record of being able to distinguish his arse from his elbow. We've won a total of twenty home league games *in the last five seasons* Actually, I say "in the last five seasons", I actually mean those five seasons AND the home games thus far this season. I've been about three times in the last three years and I don't regret it for a second. It is just the pathetic, lifeless acceptance of utter mediocrity and the lack of any pretence of wanting to do anything - *anything* - beyond staying in the league. Sherwood really needs to go. Not because he's a bad manager or because the results have not been up to scratch, but because what he puts out on the pitch absolutely defies description. He hasn't got the first clue tactically. He kept us up last season (albeit in 17th place and having lost 8 of the 14 games he managed us for) purely by not being Lambert and by getting Benteke scoring again. His tactical mistakes have been utterly staggering, though, truly bizarre. That's the terrifying bit. Believe me, if he stays here, we're going down, absolutely put your money on it. The three clubs in the relegation places seem to be disfunctional, absentee landlord owned messes. If I didn't support one of those three teams, I absolutely would want all three to go down, because they all absolutely reek of idiocy.

Allardyce is a cunt. My only interest in him going there is one of intense relief that it removes the nightmare scenario of binning Sherwood (good) and replacing him with Sam Fucking Allardyce (not good). Of course, fate means they'll beat you the next time you play them now, but on the bright side, they'll be moaning about his football within six weeks.
