I'd like Chelsea to win the league, just so Grant can effectively tell the nay-sayers to stick it up their fucking arses. One duff result at any time with that bunch of clueless fans and petulant owner and he's looking at the sack.

How are you looking forward to your derby then? I'm thinking about ours, thinking about Enckelmann letting it roll into the net, about Sorenson chucking it in, and then I'm thinking about Flapper Carson. I can't sleep. I'd take 1-1 right now. Would you?

I hate him, the potato headed wanker. It goes back to 7 minutes extra time played to allow him to score and Man United to steal the league from us, then carries on through his tenure at the filth.

ha ha, i was about to post something similar, but not as concisely funny.

Isn't it supposed to be the top players flouncing off because they don't like being managed by Herbert Lom?

Arsenal played the best half of football I've seen for decades at Villa Park earlier this season (the first half). Hleb was awesome and ran things until Big John kicked him into Witton Lane. The only better performance I've seen that that in 33 years following the Villa was Juventus in the EC QF in 1983, and they had players like Rossi, Bonkiek, Platini and Tardelli playing that night. The problem is, in the second half of that match, we played Arsenal off the pitch, having sussed out how to stop them playing. Had they been more clinical and had a proper goalscorer, they'd have been absolutely out of sight. That's Arsenal's problem all this season. They go through spells when they look invincible, then spells when they look like everyone knows how to play against them (i think they got owned by us in that second half, by Newcastle and then Boro for 90 minutes in consecutive games). The reason Man United are going to win the title and not Arsenal is so obvious, I can't even bring myself to write it. Arsene can moan all he likes about referees and agendas, but he knows the truth as much as the rest of us do.

Gerrard is such a cunt. I can barely look at him, I hate him so fucking much.

I remember when I moved to just off the Saltwell Road in my 4th year at uni, I had no idea there was such a large Jewish community around there, it was gobsmacking - not in an unpleasant way, just surprising - to see the orthodox jews everywhere. EDIT memory plays tricks, it wasn't off Saltwell Road, but it was in Bensham. Yeah - Coatsworth Road area. Used to work nearby, and it was weird close to Christmas, their Hannukah - the area was lit with candles in the houses and looked like a Dickensian London with the smoke from cars in the cold air looking quite misty in the cold. There used to be the biggest Jewish College in the country there. Mind still be - I dunno. There used to be a Jewish baker we would go to - those knotty poppy seed buns - bloody lovely. That's it, Coatsworth Road. What a horrible shit hole Bensham was. Back then, anyway.

Bollocks. It was a fantastic, cheeky goal that a different player wouldn't have even tried nevermind pulled off. Not as good as Zola's vs Norwich though. Look at the looks on our defenders faces when they realise what he's just done. Says it all.

There probably are but not fairly imo. Carson, Robinson and Kirkland are total clowns. Carson's demise since the Croatia game has been sickening to watch, it really has. Looked great before then, like our keeper for years to come, but I've never seen a player go so downhill so quickly. Every time he comes off his line my heart is in my mouth. He looks clueless at times.

We're going into our derby match next Sunday having scored 10 and conceded 0 in our previous two matches. OK, they were against a relegated team and a struggling one, but the noses must be getting a bit worried now. We've scored 4 goals or more in an away match on 4 occasions this season. I love away games, me.

Boro murdered Spurs all day, apparently. I hate to say this, but I think Southgate is putting together the nucleus of a decent side there.
-
I hope they go down. They are a nothing no ambition, crap fans team who add absolutely nothing to the Premiership. They're a small club but they add a lot to the PL. They try to play good football, have knowledgeable fans, and it is the best away trip of the season. I'll take Fulham over plastic shopping mall clubs like Bolton any day of the week
-
Happy for Fulham. Hope they stay up.
-
We gave them four points. We only beat them 1-0 at home last week and were lucky. This season is going down the shitter, big style. We're picking up very nicely now. Young in the free role behind hte front two works an absolute treat. Oh FUCKING SHIT. There goes my 350 notes.
-
We gave them four points. We gave the Mackems 4.
-
Feed the Hare and he will score! 6-0
-
Fucking get in! If Sunderland get a winner now, and Bolton, Villa, Blues and Spurs stay as they are, I've won a rather pleasant 350 quid.
-
Shit, Everton. Oh, hang on.

Barry was great until about Christmas, but anonymous since, right up until last week, when he was superb. Gabby has been rubbish since the Wigan game just after christmas, again, until last week. You won't find a Villa fan who'll disagree with that.
