Shit. Get well soon, Curtis.

Easy for me to say, as it isn't my club, but I think you are right. High earning, under performing players cruising along like they don't give a fuck strike me as Newcastle's biggest problem at the moment, which is why the criticism of KK at the moment seems mad - personally, I think it was a barmy appointment HOWEVER, what is he meant to do? He has the same pool of players to choose from, there's nothing he can do about that.

Justice. What kind of stupid comment is that? Have a look at yourself, mate. Who the fuck are you? IF your shit fans were singing that shite, then it's fucking justice being done, yes? I don't condone anyone being a cunt at football matches, and to sing stuff like that was just wrong. So what the fuck has that got to do with Curtis Davies? You think he was singing the song, do you? Did he get what he deserved, then? You saying it was "justice" marks you out as every bit the moron that the people singing the song were - can't you grasp that? Nowt, I just think he looks like a cunt. Ah well, he's ruptured his achilles tendon, so now "justice is done", you won't have to look at him again for a while.

Jesus Christ, it must have been made even more galling by having to see the most vomit-inducing goal celebration in football at the end.

If thats true its well out of order Not true, according to my friend who was there. Anyway, that song is going to get heard this season, you can bet your money on it. That is football for you. There was definately a chant of some sort about Eduardo that Arsene Wenger refered to post match as stupid "You expect better from people who come to football stadiums. It looks that intelligence and stupidity can have no limits. Unfortunately stupidity has won." This is football, supid things get chanted, that would have got chanted no matter who played there today. It was a horrible injury, nobody would wish it on anybody, it was an injury committed by a player of our closest rivals, it was hideous, but nobody died, there's been a national period of mourning of seven days now. The sanctimony from Wenger is a bit galling, really, given the proclivity of some of his players to tackle like that, as well as the liking of Arsenal fans to chant anti semitic stuff at Spurs. Incidentally, Spurs fans today were chanting "Stand up cos Eduardo can't". I'd expect to hear that one on a regular basis too. I'm not saying it is OK, I am saying that if that is considered a hideous event by the modern football supporter, then things really have changed. It is nothing, a bit of chanting.

lol. Is it me. or does Abonglahor's "skills" look very obvious and poorly executed? Well they work... but something about the way he runs with the ball looks clumsy. He hasn't scored in ages. His main contribution - decent one though it is - for most matches is to cause a nuisance by running at people. Would you swap him for Milner? No. Off on a tangent, MON would probably adopt Gabby if he could, he loves him so much. He tracks back and chases down hopeless balls, every time he does it, you see him bouncing around on the touchline like he's just spunking his pants, he loves that kind of thing. We were excellent today, by the way.

You having a laugh? Already a guarenteed sell-out man. I was being facetious. You should make that your sig. I'm going to have that as my sig. I've been toying with getting one for ages but couldn't make my mind up. Ta.

True, but it does mean that the importance of points above all else becomes very, very clear, especially these days when relegation is an unmitigated disaster.

And as if by magic, SSN report Woodgate has a sprained ankle and will not play at the weekend. Woody is just about ok,he could play against Brum but he's being held back for the match against PSV on Thusday, there's no urgency over league positions anymore. King won't be there either, probably won't play against PSV at home either, just being wrapped up in cotton wool for the away leg. Ramos doesn't want a keeper that can't catch crosses so Robbo will be on his way, as will Chimbo. Comolli has been out in Spain today, hopefully finalising deals for Villa, Jarque and Diego Capel! I can wish I suppose................. What you're re-signing Villa-he must be 55 by now. No, they're signing Aston Villa. We're a life long Spurs fan and we've made it clear to Canelloni and Levi Roots that we'd like to come. Newcastle made a late move for us, but we'd set our heart on Spurs So you wasen't tempted by the bigger wage then

Your derby is the same weekend as ours, but our game is on the Sunday at midday. Have Sky announced fixtures that far forward? I have no idea if it is on the telly. After the shenanigans (putting it lightly) when we played them at their place this season, West Midlands Police have said that a repeat at the game at VP will see them pushing for the fixture to be played at 10am next season. Derby matches. Fucking great. Having a knot in your stomach for a week before, not being able to sleep properly for a few days before, feeling vaguely sick on your way to the match, seeing the scum in your ground, working through your mind over and over again what it will be like if you lose ....

^^^ Spurs winning the UEFA Cup would just about finish me off. Not that I have anything major against Spurs - I don't - but the media love-in over their League Cup success has given an indication of what it'd be like if they won the UEFA (although it would help us, as it'd free up a UEFA place for the league). If Everton won it, on the other hand, I'd be absolutely delighted. I've always had a soft spot for them.

Switching to Barca vs Valencia at 9. Barca have had 24 shots and Valencia have had 1. Score is Barca 0 - 1 Valencia. Fucking ouch! Barca equaliser 3 mins 15 secs into injury time.

When i saw that i thought exactly the same, you could go to any traing ground in the country, and you could get a shot of any player in that position! This slander could REALLY fuck him up tbh, he will be scared to go in to a tackle because of the stick or injuring people! Hope he plays against us then!!! I am interested to see how the referee acts in our game at the Emirates on Saturday. I will state right now that I fully expect Nigel Reo-Coker to get sent off.

I honestly could not agree more. God knows, I don't stick up for that lot if I can at all avoid it, but that article really struck me as possibly the worst piece of sports 'journalism' I've ever seen.

I'd imagine he'll want some of his cash back at some point, mind. He could probably sell it for a tidy profit already. As MJ said, I doubt it has gone up in value by an amount in excess of the debts he has cleared. Although this is football, so normal sanity goes out of the window.
