  1. What, not again, you mean? ...from what it is now, I mean. Controversially, i quite liked your old NUF plus inverted C one, very of its times, but i liked it.
  2. Currently 4 points less mediocre than your good selves, mind.
  3. What, not again, you mean?
  4. Don't get me fucking started on this. Prepared is the motto and always has been but is whacked on the bottom as an afterthought (and Villa predate the scouts by several decades, before you ask). The star refers to the European Cup win but makes us look small time for having it there. The AVFC across the top is a fucking disgrace, we have (imho) one of the most historic names in football, we're not some fucking acronym. And the type face is shite as well. We're fucking gutted about it, the first fuck up of the new regime. However, I soon stopped being too worried when i read this article in The Times today: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premiership/aston_villa/article1739139.ece
  5. Jloyd Samuel is out of contract. *begging bowl shaking gesture* PS and Lee Hendrie.
  6. Without wanting to state the obvious and not in any way a wind-up, maybe the difference is that they won things?
  7. I agree on both points. And all these people blathering on about how Liverpool - Man U would be the dream CL final should possibly remember that all that does is make the gap even wider.
  8. Fucking brilliant. Stick that up your arse, Taggart, you cunt.
  9. Oh and by the way, I'm with Gemmill on the "football shirts anywhere other than to the match" thing. It just isn't right. Oh, and women wearing football shirts is never right, not even AT the match
  10. lol but did you get the doors to go on the bottom of your billy? How vulgarly nouveau riche!
  11. We've got three white ones AND a Benno in our, errrrm, 'study', like.
  12. He's got a big Citeh tattoo on his leg, so I doubt it. Myth AFAIK. Was a City supporter growing up for sure, but I think this tattoo thing was just born out of someone looking for a reason he always wears long sleeve shirts. For what its worth, I don't think many footballers "support" a club. I imagine that once they turn pro, that feeling we all have of wanting our team to win is replaced...altho they will probably have a special place in their heart for the team they supported as a boy. The only exception to this I know is Paul Scholes, who goes to watch Oldham with his kid, and even that is probably not so much support as it is responsible parenting, ie. making sure his son supports someone proper instead of growing up to be a w******. Footballers are mercenary cunts. Observe "Once a Blue, Always a Blue" Rooney jumping up and down kissing the United badge at Goodison last week, right in front of the Everton fans. Actually, not necessarily mercenary cunts, just stupid cunts. When we had Ian Taylor (lifelong Villa fan) playing for us, he was injured for the derby game at St Andrews, but rather than sit in the dugout or some box, was spotted by the tv cameras sat with the rest of the away supporters watching the game. I'd imagine most players undergo some brainwashing thing where money is the most important thing, and the team they actually supported counts for nowt.
  13. Ah, the IKEA Billy bookshelf (Oak) plus accompanying CD tower, which may actually be a Benno.
  14. ^^^^ best avatar I've ever seen, on any board ^^^^
  15. Chelsea will make it 1-1 in the last three minutes of normal time.
  16. Heard earlier that Chelsea sent a load of tickets back to Liverpool for this one. If that is true, then it really is what a much loved poster of these parts would term a DISGRACE.
  17. Meanwhile, on every other club's board right now ... "That Barton's done it again, what a twat" "Yeah, but I'd have him" "Yeah so would I" etc etc
  18. This is almost as amusing as the "Leeds 10m Maradona Swoop" ones that surfaced in about 1986.
  19. Empty seats won't affect him, mainly because it won't happen, at least not to any notable extent.
  20. I agree. Now which one do you fancy selling us? Ameobi! Ha ha, i like your style!
  21. I agree. Now which one do you fancy selling us?
  22. What would piss me off, if I were one of you lot, is the total lack of animation on the part of Roeder. Sitting there practically asleep.
  23. Anfield whispers to me, too, whenever i go there. Mainly it whispers reminders of all the fucking neanderthal fans I encountered there, chucking pool balls, bottles of piss and coins into the away end. and the annual struggle to get out of there in one piece every time we went there in the 80s.
  24. Aye me too, horrible term. Me as well.
