  1. Williamson is back on the bench. We can only have 2 recognised centre backs fit at the same time.
  2. He didn't score in a 5 - 0 win and was subbed off in the 77th minute. It would be very interesting to know the thinking behind bringing him in as at the moment it looks like a waste of a transfer fee and wages.
  3. To be fair I think it was Liverpool who made it boring. They kept the ball well but did nothing with it. Liverpool slowed the game down to a crawl. NUFC were guilty of giving the ball away too easily.
  4. Nufc.com usually try to keep track of our player contracts but they just have "tbc" under the "Contract Duration" heading. http://www.nufc.com/2014-15html/squad.html
  5. He's only just come back after 2 months out. He said he was knackered after 45 minutes against Man City. It will take him a few games to get fit enough to last 90 minutes.
  6. Did you not watch the league cup game against Man City?
  7. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02340/ashley_2340404b.jpg
  8. The media give Pardew credit for 'inspired' substitutions but never question why he didn't start with those players in the first place. Hopefully Pardew will start players like Sammy Ameobi, Cabella, Aarons (who should be back soon) and the like rather than starting every game with two holding midfielders (2 from Colback, Tiote and Anita).
  9. Pardew defended Anita before today's game. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/pardew-says-vurnon-anita-still-needs-time/
  10. Only the 'enlightened' can see what he does while the rest of us see him doing very little or nothing.
  11. What does he do? He doesn't score or create goals. He isn't great at tackling and he is too short and lightweight to be a good holding midfielder. Those who rate him say he's good at picking out a pass. I can't remember the last time he did. I just don't think he's cut out for the Premiership.
  12. You think Obertan is one of Pardew's favourite players? He has barely played him in the side for two seasons.
  13. It was Robbie Earle I think not big fat Ron. It was Danny Murphy unless you all had different commentators.
  14. We're stuck with him seemingly no matter what the results so hopefully he'll learn from today in that playing attacking players is our best form of defence. We were completely different in the second half. No more playing two holding midfielders.
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/29417158 We'll come charging out of the blocks in the second half like we never do following an Alan Pardew half time team talk.
  16. Seriously, what does Anita do? His fans think he can pick a pass. When?
  17. Our throw ins are absolutely appalling. They always end up causing us more problems than the opposition.
  18. I think the real Cissé has an identical twin brother. The real Cissé was the person who played for us in the January he signed. His twin brother took over for the last two seasons. The real Cissé was back for a few games this season and then he went to Africa to play during the international break. After today's performance it looks like the real Cissé has swapped places again with his identical twin brother.
  19. I've noticed when he has come on in games he can't hold the ball up at all.
  20. If the players really are playing for the manager then they are almost all shit players going by this showing.
  21. There's a possibility Sunderland might be first on MOTD.
  22. We should either take short corners or not even bother to have any players in the penalty area.
  23. That bench tells you everything about the strength and depth of our squad.
