Don’t rate Kelleher as highly as others tbh. Think he’s a good shot stopper and good with his feet but would prefer someone more commanding in his box Trafford on the other hand…
  2. We have won a trophy. It still hasn’t sunk in properly, I keep getting random emotions and beaming smiling. How many people said they’d die happy seeing us win something? I know I have. Feels like the first of many. I vaguely remember 98 and 99, was only young but remember everyone with NUFC stuff in their windows, on their cars etc. Remember 2023 more vividly being in London for it. The pain was immense but nothing compared to the joy this has brought.

Class. Said it on here yesterday but why would he want to leave? We are competing for and have now won silverware. We have a big summer ahead where we’ll bring quality in. The project is moving forward.
  4. Seen him blamed for 9/11 as well. They are like little bairns telling each other stories and lapping everything up, believing it as fact. They’re incredible and any decent scientist looking to study the human brain should look into their behaviours.
  5. Was thinking this earlier. Is this the first trophy a club where Mitchell is the DOF have won?
  6. Sheffield Wednesday “fan” discrediting the trophy win. Mental illness. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/accept-it-lads-and-lasses-and-simply-crack-on.1651726/ EDIT - “NewcKSAstle is absolutely ridiculous
  7. Very true. Hopefully the squad is much bigger next season also
  8. Hope we can still get into Europa or the CL. Not really fond of the Conference League as a competition, think it lacks prestige for the number of extra games it’s going to give us

Fucking class yesterday. Made the big save when required, but was off his line and judged everything to perfection. This is where Dubravka is weak and we couldn’t afford that yesterday. In a game where we weren’t controlling his possession his poor ability with his feet wasn’t really relevant. I have given Dubravka a lot of shit on this forum and on Twitter, a lot of it unfairly, so I’m not saying that as a dig at the bloke. He’s been quality for us this season.
  10. Giggled like a little girl watching this what a fucking video, what a fucking day
  11. “Some say we’ve won no trophies tell us something we don’t know” is redundant also. YANITED.
  12. Mad how much the likes of Everton fans give us shit for winning “fuck all” when we’ve only won 3 less trophies than them. In a decades time we could be level or ahead of them.

  14. Mad how he done something at Bournemouth no other manager has done for them. Became a club legend, an absolute icon. He’s now done something for us that no one has done since 1969. I have had my doubts, posted them after the Brentford game in December, thought his time was coming to an end. How wrong was I? The day he leaves here he will be remembered the way he is at Bournemouth. His managerial career is some story.
  15. Forest. Chelsea. Arsenal twice. Liverpool. We haven’t had it easy. Could argue that it’s one of the most impressive cup wins of any club.
  16. Consider me well and truly sports washed.
  17. Club legend. What an achievement.

Aye, it is just a dull modern bowl. No doubt some aspects of it are very technological and “cool”, but it is an arena not a football stadium.

Agree that there’s a lack of green space in the city centre. Also think that the town moor is a bit of a waste. Just open fields, no trees or anything.
  20. Buzzing for him. Can imagine he is the type you would want in the trenches with you.

I think the counter arguement to that - why move when we could have stayed at SJP and extended to 60k, is that once you do that you’re then stuck at that capacity and a huge investment will be required in 15 years or so if that becomes too small. I say that as someone who would love us to stay at SJP. Sadly, the lack of being able to extend again is what stops it being an option. I also would rather we move to a stadium with an increase but not one where we could see ourselves with vast amount of empty seats when we have a dip or the novelty wears off. If it is 65k, I’m sure that the option to extend it will be there, so it makes sense to take it gradually imo.
