This play off game has been awful, Huddersfield done well to get to where they have done considering they just fanny on with the ball but don't look like scoring every time I've seen them.

Agreed with that, if we hadn't won the title the way they did they would have presented the second place trophy today. Personally think it's fucking stupid that second gets a trophy, should just be given "Going up" banners like they did a few ears back.

I asked the same thing, s hadn't seen anything. Had a quick look on Getty Sport Images, and there are photos of them looking gutted at the end of the match, but no presentation. Maybe its an optional thing, and you dont have to have one for runner up? Did see a photo on Twitter supposedly of their 'Champions' pitch podium dismantled and being put back on the lorry. Had a read of their forum and they're having an open top bus parade next Sunday and they will be getting it then.

Know nowt like that at a football match, the third went in to mild cheers followed by absolute scenes. SJP rocking like I've not seen it before for the remainder. Legs were shaking, we as a club do belong in the top flight but that was one of my favourite moments following NUFC. Amazing.

It's effectively the battle for 21st and 22nd in English football, in a couple of days / weeks most won't really care, whereas relegation for any of those 3 big clubs will be devastating so it is 100% the correct decision to focus on the relegation battle. Had we have been 1 point clear of Huddersfield (or behind) in the race for 2nd then of course both would have been shown, but this is largely insignificant, especially to fans outside of Newcastle and Brighton. We've been shown 19 times this season and even if we were guaranteed to finish exactly 1st or 2nd then there would still be a demand to see our game due to the size of our fanbase and Sky could easily have shown us for ratings, but they've gone for the games which they think will be most relevant to the neutrals. I'd like to see our game and hope we win the title but they have definitely gone for the much more significant games. Can't help but agree with every word, if it wasn't NUFC involved at the top I wouldn't give two fucks.

I had to be away early so left the Derby game early and popped in to The Terrace just to check what was going on whilst I walked past and it was busy but there were tables etc available so you should be fine.

Fair play to him, he's made mistakes this season but he's had some good moments as well and as people have said he obviously gives a fuck. Refreshing how likeable this group of players is.

I was reading it last week after our promotion and they're a bitter bunch, desperately hope we win the title now after reading it but I can't see Villa doing us any favours. It was full of the usual parachute payments bollocks and other small time comments made by the mong brigade on Twitter who can't see the bigger picture, not giving us any credit whatsoever.

Went on a mini bus yesterday, left at 7am and returned home at 6:30am, absolutely fucked, didn't stop drinking all day. One of the best away trips I've ever done, away end was quality and the team were brilliant second half especially considering who we had missing. Rafa Benitez is our manager, still have to get my head around that every now and again. Over the moon we broke the record too, would've been a shame if we hadn't after the start we made.

Going to this. Hope we win. Won't be arsed if we don't. Going to be a party atmosphere and I hope we take a good number of fans down.

It's killing them. Just like it killed them that we kept Rafa. They're going down without a fight and look like keeping Miserable Moyes that they all hate and they haven't got a pot to piss in.

Credit where Credit's due. Still doesn't change that this season has been harder than it should have been football wise. Having said that I will be eating humble pie for the foreseeable future. Wash it down with some bleach.
