  1. I draw the line at Kinnear. Anything beyond that is fine.
  2. Would be wildly gutted if we missed another chance to get someone decent and just end up with a very mediocre Pulis, albeit a wildly better option than Pardew. Don't think the atmosphere will be anything other than apathetic like it has been, regardless. He hasn't done anything tbf. A few quotes about how he is flattered but committed to Newcastle and its forgotten. I'd be more than content with Pullis. He's miles better than anyone I expect us to appoint.
  3. I'm worried too, but at this point I'll take worried over "don't give a shit"
  4. The only reason i'm not betting my life's savings on this is because I'm not sure if it will be Beardsley, Carver, or Kinnear
  5. I imagine Ashley would refuse compensation just to stop us from being happy
  6. One of them is probably our new manager
  7. Regardless of whether he actually goes or not, it's really tragic how while we were doing everything we could to get rid of him, it seems like Pardew himself didn't really like being here either.
  8. Pullis at least has a plan and can execute it competently. Don't think you could say the same about Sherwood.
  9. Out of the poll, the only remotely realistic options (British, unemployed, shit) are as follows: Beardsley McKay Pulis Sherwood So yeah, I'd totally take Pullis.
  10. Out of the realistic options I guess I'd take Pullis.
  11. "Newcastle announces new ten-year contract for Alan Pardew"
  12. Don't do this to yourself man. No way he's ever leaving
  13. You know what's going to happen? Ashley is going to keep him here by offering him a new, improved ten-year contract.
  14. Don't be silly. There has to be someone worse.
  15. Fuck you world. Stop giving me hope.
  16. Good to know that the club has given up on this game just like I have.
  17. This is a shitty team but there's not much else we could field with what's available unfortunately. Weird how both Sammy and Cisse are suddenly "injured" today.
  18. He's still surprisingly good at playing as a central forward though, for having a slight posture and not being used to the English game. If this is not just a flash in the pan, this boy could really be something special. I hate to draw such a comparison and I'm not saying he's going to be quite at that level, but he reminds me a bit of a younger RvP, late Feyenoord/early Arsenal days. I pray to God our coaches don't make him bulk up and take the natural footballer out of him in the process. We both know that's exactly what they'll do
  19. Colback played a bit of right back for Sunderland didn't he? He's in the team 100% anyway so might as well.
