  1. Agreed. This is taking my post-KK debacle levels of "what's the point?" and multiplying them by 4.

Wish I could've been standing there shouting "you can hold your head up high Chris! You don't fucking deserve this!"
  3. Come to think of it, it's actually been ages since we sacked a manager. KK walked, Kinnear dropped dead, and Shearer was ignored out of the club.
  4. I'm sorry, but if you seriously believe that then you are insane. This will turn the players into a pile of mushy s***. KaKa is rather insane, tbf. Hey, that's messed up. Cool your jets my friend. The players should quit the tweeting all their sorrows tbh. What they should have done is put in more effort yesterday. I hope we get someone who is tough on them next. They're a bunch of softies. Wonder if Rijkaard would fancy it ... don't answer that btw. Also, the more they tweet, the less the pretendy ITK's can make things up. I tweeted Jonas asking about Maradona. Leave it to Kaizero to find new and innovative humor in this situation

I'm confident that he'll have a new job very soon. Hope he goes to a club that treats him properly.
  6. If nothing else, Shearer would be acceptable because he would be the only candidate who would take the job that wouldn't immediately cause me to projectile vomit.
  7. I mean really, as long as Mike Ashley is in charge of this club, what's the point? We could get Mourinho and it would mean fuck all. He would continue to be undermined, he would get no money, and he would be sacked at the first chance. You can't solve our problem without attacking the root cause, however painful that may be.
  8. As if anything Mike Ashley says ever means anything. This. Shearer - as s*** as he was in his 8 games and his 8 games only here before - I wouldn't be too unhappy with him returning. I would certainly welcome a Shearer return because I can't help myself, but aspersions have to be cast upon how well he gets along with "this group of lads." Particularly given the central role Barton plays in the dressing room.

  10. So we'll put you name down for a protest? Like I said, I admit that I don't really have the ability to be a part of this discussion because of where I am. What I said above is what I think though. Not trying to be funny with you bud, but saying the fans should protest, even if it costs us relegation while not attending yourself is ridiculous imo. Maybe, but that's what I think. If I could I would.

  12. I was vehemently against the boycotts last time, but I have to say I've changed my mind. I think we need to accept at this point that this club is never going anywhere with Mike Ashley in charge. If he is allowed to stay he will eventually run us to the ground in one way or another. If boycotts and protests mean relegation this season, then unfortunately I think that's a price we need to be willing to play to convince him to leave. And yes, I realize that I don't really have a say in this, but that's my opinion.
  13. I don't think there's anything I wouldn't do to excise the plague that is Mike Ashley from my club. It's like watching a close, loved relative getting possessed by a pedophile and being forced to do his bidding.
  14. I realize I'm a complete idiot for saying it and I'm only doing so because I'm emotionally distraught right now... ...but the "FC United of Manchester option" doesn't seem like such a bad idea at this point.
  15. No manager is taking us anywhere under Mike Ashley. You know what? NE5 WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG!
  16. To be fair to Ashley, Pardew has plenty of experience at failure.
  17. So, who do you guys think he'll go on to have a great career for?
  18. In some ways it's worse because we know exactly what we'll be going through in the coming months. Back then at least we had some false hope to cling on to.
  19. Not only did Mike Ashley sack a decent manager, he sacked the only decent manager stupid enough to want this job.
  20. Surely we're looking at having to prevent a mass exodus now? Can only imagine how betrayed the players must feel.
  21. I look forward to watching Ashley get refused by manager after manager for the next month until he finally goes begging to Shearer, who subsequently tells him to fuck off. Actually, I don't because we'll get 0 points during that period and it will probably result in Joe Kinnear.
  22. God help me, but McClaren would be one of the best appointments we could make at this point.
  23. Has anyone seen his twitter? "Thank you Chris Hughton for trusting us when nobody else would."
