  1. They're pretty bad. It's not beyond the realm of possibility for us to win.

Club should really just use his ridiculous behavior as an excuse for canceling his contract. This is so embarrassing it's fucking unreal. FFS Ashley, just get the idiot out. Get on the phone with any one of the decent unemployed managers out there right now, tell them they get a two-year contract, full control, and a 12m transfer budget in the winter, Aidy Boothroyd would probably drive up by tomorrow.
  3. Wait a second, this Mareque person has never been capped on any level for Argentina. How's he getting a work permit? Normally I'd assume he'd have a European passport or something, but Kinnear's just about idiotic enough to screw something up like this.
  4. Samba would be an amazing signing but CB is far from a problem position at the moment.

Again, would any currently unemployed manager, such as Boothroyd/Curbishley/Grant/Pardew turn us down given a longterm contract and promises of no board interference? (Which apparently has already been offered to JFK?) Are any of them not significantly better than Kinnear? I find the "we should keep JFK because we can't get anyone better" argument to be silly. Now that we're looking for an actual manager and not just a stop-gap, there are always better options than Joe f***ing Kinnear. I wouldn't personally want Grant or Curbishley of those 4, but I don't really care who the manager is just so long as we stay up and he sells asap I can understand not wanting Grant, but what do you find so distasteful about Curbishley? If anything he has the best resume out of those four and is equipped with skills specialized for our situation (avoiding relegation with no money.)

Given my current standards, I'd have Curbishley here in half a second. Amazing given that when Allardyce was sacked, I was quite disappointed by the idea of Redknapp.
  8. Ridiculous. That's easily the worst we have played this season, easily. A draw would have flattered us, but since we've had MON one thing which has been constant is that we never, ever give up. Also, Ashley Young has been poor all season. I really don't think many non Villans realise that. 4 goals and 5 assists in 16 games is poor? tbf it is. Messi-esque stats compared to what our wingers usually get.

Fucking Hell NE5. Don't you come ruin my senseless mong ranting with your senseless mong ranting.
  10. Money on that f***ing Ryan Taylor to score the first goal me thinks. Think we should all put a couple quid on him, just to soften the inevitable disappointment.

Who could we get in that is better? I ask your right now, what managers out there are worse than Joe Kinnear? Lets assume for a moment that we're so unattractive that it would be impossible for us to attract any manager that's currently with a club. Lets look at the list of currently unemployed English managers: Boothroyd? He's got potential at least. Curbishley? Competent premiership level manager. Pardew? At least he doesn't come with the f***ing annoying personality. Thing is, as long as its nailed on that the gig is permanent and Ashley is staying for the time being, there are quite a few managers that willingly take over if only to get back to Premiership management again. And not a single one of them is a worse prospect than Joe Kinnear. The only valid arguments for keeping Kinnear would be appeals to the inherent value of stability, and that it might negatively affect the players. As far as I'm concerned the ineptitude he's displayed so far and the embarrassing way he interacts with the media outweighs those.
  12. It's really down to how other teams do. Our performances will probably maintain a level of mediocrity, and we'll survive with a bit of luck and if other teams sink further than we do. That is, unless Kinnear loses the dressing room and everything goes completely pear-shaped. (Not an unlikely scenario I imagine)
  13. 12m - pay of Kinnear's contract and shell out the cash for a quality boss. our weakest position at the moment is Manager.
  14. I'm being reminded of why I never watch Man U games. All the wanking from the commentators is f***ing unbearable. At least Park is playing well. EDIT: Commentator redeems himself: "Look at what Roy Keane has left.... They're awful, absolutely awful."
  15. Not sure if anyone cares anymore, but our consolation entertainment for the day is underway.

They were good enough until the manager got a chance to speak to them. So the only time he speaks to them is at Half Time? Erm.. yep So 11 players decide to play great first half, and s*** second half. Think about it.... Besides, it is a managers job to motivate the players. Ask Sir Bobby and he'd tell you just that. Having our only ball-winning (well actually, any kind of central midfielder) going off at half time didn't help his cause, especially since he didn't have Geremi on the bench like he would have every other week. Surely you're not only blaming the manager though? They're f***ing professional football players, if they need a f***ing manager to come and rub them on the back and tell them everything will be oh f***ing kay then they're f***ing idiots. Surely when you're 2-0 up, you don't need your manager to f***ing 'motivate' you? It's more probable to assume that there was something wrong with one individuals tactics, motivation, and substitutions than to assume that eleven individuals spontaneously decided to lose all interest and play like s*** in the second half after a blinder of a first. Occam's Razor and all that. So the players are absolved of any blame? Always been the f***ing problem with us, how many managers have we been through now? And we want to sack another one? Oh lord Everyone played well first half. Everyone played s*** second half. Which is more probable, that all the players decided to play s*** in the second half? Or that the manager is at fault. The "blame everyone" line of reasoning is useless. While I'm sure everyone contributed in their own way, there's always a primary source for any problem. In today's case I think it's rather blindingly obvious that it was Joe Kinnear.

  18. 5 Hopefully Sunderland will now fimrly root themselves into one of the other places in the drop zone, leaving us just needing to avoid one spot. Things still not looking good given our idiotically bad away form.

We already have a laughing stock club with a laughing stock owner in a fucking hilarious situation. To think that we're saddled with a laughing stock manager for the rest of the year.... I'm sick and tired of people laughing at my club.

I'd take Poyet tbh, perhaps that was the plan. Otherwise Speed, or Shearer, or Tommy Craig, or Glenn Roeder. The emotions I have for Roeder are like mad, unrequited love compared to what I feel for Kinnear.

I'd like to think that it's still not too late for Ashley to do what Tottenham did, issue a statement, and appoint a decent permanent manager. I'd like to think that.

Might as well get the ball rolling. OK, I've tried. I've really, honestly tried to like this man. I knew he was a second rate manager, an attention whore, and a laughing stock to the rest of the league. But I gave him benefit of the doubt and tried to like him. Whatever he is, he's still our manager after all. But I've got to the point where I physically just can't bear to look at him anymore. And it's turning my stomach to think that he's in charge of my club. Sacking another manager right now would be a disaster. Nobody would want the job. It would probably get us relegated. But you know what? I can't take it anymore. I JUST CANT. ONE MORE f***ed UP INTERVIEW FROM THE f***ing c*** AND I'M GOING TO f***ing EXPLODE. So feel free to take my name down as one of the first mongs on the Kinnear out bandwagon. Thoughts?
  23. All we need now is for Sunderland to nick something at Old Trafford to complete a wonderful day.
  24. what an awful, disgusting club I support. Off to shoot myself in the head then.
  25. Who's commentating and why's he making sarcastic jibes against Newcastle every chance he gets?
