Newcastle United 0 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur - 13/08/17 (post-match from p28)

We don't look anywhere near as quick as them. Physically or mentally. Might just be my pessimism though. -
If that's the case, and we aren't 'stepping up' our interest, surely that is evidence to suggest that until players leave, there will be no new signings. Totally brainless way of doing business. And yes, you can say maybe he doesn't want to come here. But given Benitez mentioned him directly, and there is obviously a lot of work done to assess a player's interest before approaching them formally, it's unlikely to be the case.

Rumoured potential of a possible bid, yet it's still

Such a blatant pen! Ref looks like he's going for a pint in the local pub straight after. -

I expected more from them, but it seems they finished bottom half last year and they look it. They just about avoided relegation during a season where they sold a number of their best players. -

Mitro with a chance already. Never fills me with confidence. -
Can't speak about MM, but I know Alex and went to school with him. Normally a polite and decent lad, just think things came out the wrong way from GF. As for the other individuals purportedly contacting authorities and other media outlets...

That would be Florian Lejaune, but close...

That was such a chance for Ronaldo.

My word!

In stitches with Mike Dean

Ref has completely lost the game like. Playing to the crowd.

Mitro battled for the ball on the wing, bounced clear but he continued running forward, no one tracked him, through ball through the centre, slid past oncoming keeper from just outside the box -

Same players (roughly) as Everton, and yet more intent to play football in first 2 mins than last 90 mins. Criminal. -

A team of these players does not belong in 18th place. It is completely McClarens fault ffs. Did we really think McLaren was a competent manager before we appointed him? He shouldn't even be here. -

If we get relegated (read: when), it won't be McLaren's fault. It'll be Ashley's. It has taken the best part of 10 years to prove that you can't buy tat and get away with it. If you want quality players, you have to pay quality prices. Problem is, he is stubborn enough to believe the same rule doesn't apply to management. Deserve to go down. -
