I thought he was excellent today, he never stopped battling for the ball and made some great interventions and flicks ons. If he was playing with anyone other than shola today, I'm sure he'd have had a goal or more. Shola ruined so many promising opportunities. The partnership I'm really looking forward to seeing is carrol and ranger. I really hope they get the chance to play together a lot this season, even if its at the end of matches

Same. I haven't seen him play since, well, palermo and he was fantastic today. The more chances and experience he gets playing with us means less of the odd error but frankly, every keeper makes errors - if he doesn't concede than who cares, a good example would be david james! We have an excellent backup for now so that makes me feel far more assured

Drove me mad as fucking usual today. Whenever we made some promising runs forward, he traps the ball tries to either pass it or turn the defender....and THEN HE ALWAYS FUCKING FALLS OVER! I almost started counting how many times he did this tonight, must've been 20+ times. Doesn't deserve to be on the pitch but then we don't have much of a choice at the moment.

Carrol, Smith, Enrique and especially Krul all excellent. A good result from a managerless paper thin squad'd toon also looking forward to seeing more of barton and of course, the NILE! ps - Shola was a disgrace, fell over about 40 times and did fuck all.
