I think some people miss the fact we scored 2 goals (3 with a half fit striker), away from home, with basically no strikers until owen came on. Also...Jonas is quickly becoming my fave toon player of the moment, hes so strong on the ball, tidy and passes perfectly.

Our players are definitely in great shape and tbh, even if we don't get a player or 2 this window - I feel confident about the season. KK is doing a great job so far imo, I see a character about our side coming through again. Something I've not seen for a while now

Great game, I thought we were great. Obviously we should've walked away with the points much earlier but a freakish throw-in and a superb finish kept them in it. Jonas is one of the tidiest players i've seen play for us so far, pure class. Colo was just fantastic, such a natural defender and I thought Bassong also had a excellent game, could be a steal. Milner never stopped, same goes for guthrie and butt, who performed great. We all knew that it was going to be extremely difficult getting goals tonight, with literally NO strikers - bar owen who was only meant to play 15 minutes. I'm really, really impressed with how our team is shaping up. Fingers crossed we get some players in, especially a striker and midfielder, before the window shuts. :thup:

I hope we hammer them but I must say i've got a little more nervous about our striker situation.......I think it'll be 0-1 or -0-2 to us on the night but I think we'll have a few scares. Hope I'm wrong! like most people I'd like us to blood some youngsters if we get comfortable but looking at our striking injuries we may have to play them whether we're comfortable or not.......eek! Off to my local bout 7.30 COME ON LADS!

The way he played and attacked today, I can see him getting the odd goal too, especially against lesser teams. My guess is he'll get 6 or 7 goals hopefully. Cracking debut.

I expect him to play gainst bolton, he'll get better n better. i support him fully. buying another lb will just provide another option which we rightly need.

Colo was immense in what was his first game ever, at old trafford against arguably the best team in the world. Jonas was amazing, guthrie was rock solid, given mint, oba excellent.......I'm utterly impressed and proud of the lads and KK today. We played out of our skin and could have won it with a little luck! 10/10 - can't wait for the season to continue! with the promise of 2-4 more players this could be a damn fine season! well done nufc

i hope to god we score, then we'll have a good chance. otherwise we'll be buried. going to the pub in an hour to watch it, i'm definately nervous but hope we have a good go at it. my expectations, like most, aren't high with regards to the result but i miss watching my beloved toon HERE WE GO AGAIN LADS
