I think I'm in the same opinion as most people when I say I'd love him here as long as he can stay fit (I wouldn't pay more than £4m) Although we have some good defenders here so if he was injured we'd most likely have a player good enough on standby. So I support this bid fo sho!

I'd agree with this purchase, good player when I've watched him and will be great competition for jose whos been playing well after finding his feet. For £5.5m just get him in and start hunting for others I say.

I'm not sure what Blackburn's cash situation is like but Hughes has been complaining about not having any money to spend, I think a big offer for Bentley would tempt them but how much would he cost? I'm guessing around £9-12m as they'll fight tooth and nail to keep him.

This is the exact thing we are right now, predictable. I think once we get some key, top quality players injected into the squad we'd see a huge rise in confidence and thus good results. Its because our squad size is so small, especially right now, that the pressure is effecting some players. Of course we have a few players that are simply not good enough in my opinion - Shola, Carr and Butt. On the whole I don't think we need to get rid of anyone really, we just need to spend big in the areas we're most lacking. That will in turn provide a big difference in the way we play. KK and Mike know they'll have to splash the cash and thats exactly why Kevs here, to put us back up there. I can't wait until the recruiting begins because I think we're going to be a far more capable side next season. The key thing now is who does he get in the next 10 days?
