  3. Far too early to say, stupid thread.
  4. C'mon villa! Blackburn vs. Villa - kicks off in 10 minutes time Aston Villa will be looking to keep up their fine form against a Blackburn side without a win in their last three games. predictions? I say 1-1 but I hope blackburn lose
  5. Spot on. Only 13 games and all you whingers are complaining that he hasn't performed miracles yet, you outta be ashamed!
  6. If he wins the next 4 games all will be right as rain again and talk of new contracts will be bandied about, such is the fickle world of football
  7. spudface His other moniker is "potato head" I'm sure someone I know once called him the elephant man
  8. Grumpy Gunt 69 Northern Monkey 55 Invicta_toon 48 wanted on absurd pessimism and negativity charges
  9. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2923569,00.html NEC Nijmegen defender Jonas Olsson has been linked with a move to the Premier League. According to reports in Holland, Newcastle are keen to bring in the 24-year-old and have already opened negotiations with his agent Martin Dahlin. A number of other English clubs have also been credited with an interest, and Olsson is tipped to move on in the January transfer window.
  10. Do you not read anything Mort says, Sams staying and thats that! (you spelt lose wrong too ) I'd go with your team lineup too
  11. This week is going to go so slow in the build up to this match. I have a good feeling about it though but people shouldn't expect miracles either way. I'd rather have steady progress than rather win 1, lose 1, draw 1. my prediction is 1-2 to the toon ........ Martins and Smith to score
  12. Yeah but I also think Ameobi's time here is over too. We need a fast, young and hungry striker to compete and learn from the likes of Viduka, Owen and Martins.
  13. Typical, if it's good he belongs to England, if it's bad he belongs to Newcasstle, it's actually quite funny. Hah well spotted, journalism in this country is just a joke at times
  14. blueyes.gif Deffo, Monday morning tension! Get some good porn on the go lads and lasses!
  15. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1176304,00.html We hope so too Mr Mort,we hope so too. Good ol' Mort, I like him because he doesn't jump on the tabloid bandwagon. He has patience and common sense about him which is what we've lacked severly in the past. In tough times you stick together, you don't sack people left, right and centre.
  16. I suggested to you what you suggested to him, I don't see what being deaf has to do with any of this either. Because you accuse me of lacking effort, when the truth is that when engaged in verbal communications, I am putting in a hell of a lot of effort in going through my own translation process, and thus I feel entitled to ask others to do the same when they entering a place which has its own set language. I generally don't agree with anything Harry writes on here but I can understand his points just fine. I bet if you agreed with his points you'd have said nothing about his spelling or grammar.
  17. What a shit article and by article I mean someone copy and pasting Owen's quotes and writing some daft opinion underneath it. I agree the "I don’t think any of the Croatian team would get into our team" isn't very thought through but to call him a Blithering Idiot is just stupid.
  18. Well hopefully in January or in the summer we'll be more reinforced in the creativity department. Sam did amazingly well what was his first transfer window for us on a limited budget at the time, now seeing as the financial structure of the club has been asessed we can afford to be excited by this fast approaching window of opportunity. Apart from Solano, it had always just been flashes of brilliance from these players in the past and no real consistancy was really evident in their time here. Injuries, lack of effort and them generally being greedy crybabies always stifled their progress. So glad we got rid of them and I'm looking forward to learning from these past mistakes. Obviously clubs love to inflate their prices at this time of year but no need to panic if there isn't a cheap Kaka on the market in January, summer will deliver some nice surprises I reckon
  19. Exactly toonlass. In the past we've always had an itchy trigger finger, just waiting to jump on the idiotic tabloid bandwagon and start heads rolling. With a brand new boardroom and a seeminly intelligent and patient setup we'll reap the rewards eventually. We have to get through these tough times, we have to realise that sacking a manager gets us nowhere and continuity is where success lies. Yes, sam will make mistakes and yes at times results will be horrible but I've seen this at so many clubs over the years and they rightly stuck with their manager, supported him and in the end were much better off for it. Its just sad that the media monkeys pulling the strings influence the idiots so easily.
  20. What a laughable thread. Anyone even thinking about a manager change needs to go and grow up. All of the known forum shit stirrers always come on at the same time, just after we lose or if a badly written sensationalist headline is printed in a piss poor tabloid. I recall most of the forum, as soon as Sam was appointed, saying they all agreed that it was the beginning of a new era. One that after dealing with managers so badly in the past, they'd now offer more patience because chopping managers every year got them NOWHERE and often took the club backwards. But of course the general kneejerkers have resurfaced and now with their toys thrown out of their pram, they're stamping their feet and wanting a new manager after only 6 months. Grow the fuck up and have some patience for christ sake.
  21. http://www.skysports.com/football/match_report/0,19764,11065_2847690,00.html 7-1 is bloody EPIC. makes me feel a little better
  22. I think we'll win 0-2 I'm strangely looking forward to it
