  1. he's the new jigsaw, perfectly fine until about 20 yards from goal
  2. how many players "just" get 10 or more goals a season in the PL man, think about it
  3. i've backed manyoo the night, go all in on city lads
  4. atsu deserves nothing...muto had a few games and looked like he could actually produce then AC and injuries kicked in atsu will never produce anything man
  5. for me this is key, they could solve this today by asking him to sign a 1 year with no penalty clauses...if we fuck you about you can walk if they were acting in good faith they'd have done that already
  6. On some but not all, the club amazingly had to lend cash for the Almiron deal. this is what they should be doing for the entire season and deducting the interest from budget, fucking wankers, but then that would mean they'd have to spend the money
  7. he had his zero hours contract slave go to the papers last week to say he'd give rafa this amount
  8. reminds of a time when i didn't hate him
  9. I can’t go along with the notion that Ashley would deny Rafa funds only to grant a largesse to his successor. It might well cost him £120m over time, but there’s no way the next man in the dugout gets that cash - summer or January. mclaren money was a perfect storm of shitness imo, in that mclaren was carr's man and ashley obviously trusted carr to some degree he'll not make that mistake again, despite the fact he's making a huge fucking mistake not backing rafa given the miracles he's already worked in terms of improving players and their values
  10. w-w-w-w-w-wages dude Isn't that one of the issues Rafa wants to change IF he signs a new deal? maybe aye, but you're taking +£20m players at absolute best that have been on manyoo wages, we're not playing in that league either way imo
  11. or maybe shevley to revert to the deeper playmaking role but then we'll be back to perez & rondon being very isolated
  12. well that's just not true is it It is. i mean there has been times they played a counter-attacking game but in the peak fergie years you were not a counter-attacking team at OT man, ffs
  13. would say it was highly notiecable after he went off (and then obviously without him or lejeune in the team) how much more difficult we're going to find it to distribute the ball effectively from deep for the next few games
  14. well, he's got movement and options around him now which he rarely had before..he's obviously improved but the overall team/tactical situation has helped with that
  15. think geordie ahmed is right, was reported at the time marrachute payments would go to short to pay off what some of what he was owed iirc
  16. i mean, i couldn't get better than them filling their wembley quota and being knocked out again could it? fucking hell
  17. was it ever 100% clarified that the £300m fantasy asking price included the debt he's owed btw?
  18. Rules We lobbed an extra £30m onto our wage bill last season for no reason other than to make our results look worse. no i'm aware of that but he's saying "no cash injections" and the media just peddle it verbatim, was wondering if there were comparable clubs to us you could point at and call it out (if you were a competent journalist)
  19. said at the time of his good run all he did was allow the flair players they have to play, that's it...my manyoo mate was moaning as it was basically just counter-attacking football and not their way or whatever did mourinho's game better than him with the same players basically hopefully they let him burn mountains of cash in the summer building things in his image
  20. aye it seems a lot of people want to liken him to a former flair player. His style looks quite unique to me from what I've seen, perpetual motion, very attacking, but as he showed once again on Saturday, very willing to get back and track when needed. it's an odd thing to bring up but happens all the time (done it myself), when someone does though it's bound to get comments....from what i've seen so far on this comparison dyer was better at running at men with the ball at his feet and going past them with it, almiron uses his pace, the space and the ball better imo
