Agree with a fair bit of what TCD says there but I also do not underestimate the role Pardew played in dampening expectations throughout the club or the fanbase as to what we could achieve on the pitch at any given time. Dropping Sissoko could enable us to stumble on that formula or it could make him think about his France place or potential move to a CL and get him playing again. What's sure as shit as him walking into the team week in week out ensures nothing more than the current shadow of a player we get. As someone else said he's a waste of a shirt for +90% of a match. He's the midfield version of Cisse with a bit more effort and athleticism thrown in.

This is what I've said about McLaren since he walked through the door, all else aside he's made horrible fucking decisions on a week by week basis.

Looks money well spent.. From the first time I saw him as someone else here said he just picks the right pass and does the right thing with minimum fuss. He also see's off the ball runs and angles for passes amazingly well. Currently the player I'm most impressed with in the league tbh

This is what I came in to mention. IMO if we have less than 9 points after ten games he should be walking. Everyone accepted the difficult start, he's had the Mitrovic sending off to deal with, and most would have accepted Citeh were going to ream us. However he has to turn a corner and it's now or never IMO.
