  1. see i think this is where everyone is talking at cross purposes or whatever, because watching the performances he has been as shite as we expected, arguably worse tbh, but those performances have been heavily masked but ludicrous goals from defenders and teams not putting us away in other words he's been very, very lucky - i honestly don't see how anyone could argue against that tbh
  2. yeah i know, we all know, but it's a crap argument bruce is the current boss so he's responsible for performances, but by his own admission he stuck with benitez's system and organisation because he doesn't have a fucking clue the players weren't capable of playing anything else or something so he gets little to no credit for copying what benitez built at the same time as not being able to get attackers within a sniff of the opposition goal and is also responsible for us conceding 4 goals against shite teams as you mentioned, because he's the boss it's pretty simple now having said that, while i'm still of the opinion he's massively riding his luck what i would say is that he deserves credit for starting to get the attackers more involved finally, for realised after 70% of the season that playing almiron right wing was never going to work, and that joelinton needs people around him to be any kind of threat...i'm being semi-facetious here but we do look better going forward now on the face of it and that's down to bruce not benitez if we're being logically consistent
  3. he's taken 2 replays to get past 2 absolute shite teams man can't think of us ever having such a favourable draw in the cup and we still struggled Aye, Benitez's well drilled defence conceded 4 goals against those lower league sides. Just wondering if that's Benitez' fault or Bruces anything good is down to benitez, anything bad is down to bruce, don't you know the rules?
  4. well put - what was that period where we were picking results with our defenders scoring random goals as we were dicked off the pitch in most games? he doesn't "deserve credit" for that because winning games by having your defenders score all the goals isn't a tactical plan, it was fucking luck 12 goals conceded in 15 home isn't purely down to luck man. Fucking hell  not sure what point you think you're making, he stuck to rafa's system in order to keep games tight and as a result we couldn't score for shit if you think steve bacon is the brains behind that defensive organisation and dubravka playing out of his skin you need help

  7. i mean bruce's more "attacking" formation is only going to help joelinton but we all knew this, he's been too isolated for too long over the season and having ASM/Almiron buzzing around him and transitioning the ball the way the do means he'll be free to make more of those central runs going forward he still does some of the most outrageous shit i've seen when in front of goal but imo def worth keeping around post takeover and post bruce to see if anything could be made of him
  8. fixed that for you tongue in cheek by the way, fair play to the useless cunt for the result today, however if we get taken over and he's kept on i will be absolutely mortified beyond words
  9. this has to be it like, that can't be a coincidence ffs - i'm starting to believe
  10. This ideally, dicked in every game to the end of the season. New owners peddle the useless twat instantly.
  11. this move does suggest they're willing to move on from the piracy shit and play ball like, encouraging
  12. isn't he a member of the digital something or other committee rather than just being some random dickhead sending emails
  13. she got £30m from the barclays deal, you'd imagine she's invested that and her fella has some cash etc. unless she is a total fraud and has blown it all
  14. Why would the signs be removed before the takeover? Who would be paying for that? think it's more about if he's bothered his arse to spend more money on more adverts rather than removal of what's there - tarps draped over seats etc.
  15. Maybe that's what already happened. if bein is now being shown in SA as has been suggested the last couple of days (which i've not seen debunked?) then there's a chance they've gone through this process with specific reference to F.15.3 also agree with the point that it would be strange to wait this long and go through it all to say no, more likely they're working on or have worked on solutions to get the deal through have always thought this was what was taking time, the PL finding a way to get it through, just didn't bank on the qatar angle being as big as it was
  16. It's exactly what Pedro has done above tbh. If you know you are leaving anyway it makes no sense to stay an extra month and risk an injury that could curtail your last big contract. It looks worse because Bournemouth are in trouble but I understand it. Pedro isn’t in the first team, they’re not dependent on winning/losing something on his form. Bournemouth have given him the position to be the player he is/thinks he is. They’re now massively in trouble. Not finishing the season is an absolute shithouse move. if he got injured in the last few games, badly, they'd throw him in the bin without a 2nd thought goes both ways
  17. I suspect the legal advice that the PL receive won't be clear cut, but will say that there are no legal constraints against accepting the deal, but it may be subject to challenge. In which case, I think the PL will accept the deal, and it'll then boil down to whether the Qataris are able and motivated to mount a challenge. I'm not sure under what legal mechanism they'd be able to do that, and how far the burden of proof would fall on them. Trouble is, money is no object, and this could drag on for a long time. Would the Quatari’s have the right to mount a challenge, the governance of the PL has nothing to do with them. probably something to do with the commercial terms of their agreement you'd think, look for a refund or some bollocks, but they can't challenge the PL's decision
  18. that was always going to happen regardless of takeover or not well not really, if we knew we were good to go once this season ended due to new ownership i wouldn't give a fuck years more of this cunt will be too much for me
